<p>Compare to Maximum Strength Pepcid AC active ingredient. Just one tablet of Member’s Mark™ Acid-Pep Famotidine Tablets, 20 mg prevents and relieves heartburn associated with acid indigestion brought on by eating and drinking certain foods and beverages. This maximum strength heartburn medicine is intended for adults and children 12 years and over. Helps prevent meal-induced heartburn when taken at least 10-60 minutes before eating. Lasts up to 12 hours.</p> <h3>Managing Heartburn</h3> <p>Tips for heartburn include: use Famotidine Tablets 20 mg. or another heartburn medicine; do not lie flat or bend over after eating; do not eat before bedtime; raise the head of your bed; eat slowly and avoid big meals; quit smoking.</p> <h3>How To Use</h3> <p>Directions: adults and children 12 years and over: to relieve symptoms, swallow 1 tablet with a glass of water. Do not chew; to prevent symptoms, swallow 1 tablet with a glass of water at any time from 10 to 60 minutes before eating food or drinking beverages that cause heartburn; do not use more than 2 tablets in 24 hours. Works Great as compared to Pepcid from the drug store!

2 per day, AM & PM  works well.   Had to go off Omeprazole due to severe side effects.

Works very well.

My husband has horrible heartburn but, loves spicy food.  These work best when taken before he eats but, still will work 30 minutes after he takes one when he's done eating.

Heartburn.....nope

I take famotidine on occasion (when eating poorly) and find that I can cut the pill in half and it still work well. So, the price is already good, but it lasts me twice as long. Another good Members Mark product!

Helps with acid reflux, heartburn

I am having a health issue that requires me to take this twice per day. Can't get this any cheaper anywhere else. It seems to work as well as the name brand and is saving me a bunch. Unfortunately my health condition is causing me to take a lot of drugs for my heart and these help prevent the damage to my stomach due to those drugs. I seem to have mild side effects from taking the maximum dose but I am able to alleviate those with natural remedies instead of turning to yet another drug.

Bought this to help get off of pantoprazole. So far it's working with the very occasional Tums. Hope to end all meds eventually along with diet and meal planning.

I have alpha gal so i need mammalian free products. The ndc was different on the box but the bottles were labelled with numbers im familiar with. Less expensive for sure.  Wish i didnt have to call with each new ndc.  Just put it on the box!!  Please!!

It didn't help at all. I started having the heart burn. I do not recommend it.
