It was a chore getting together; however definitely worth it in the end. Been looking at this grill for the better part of a year. After researching, and daydreaming (lol), finally went out and bought it. Looking forward to using it for my grilled vegetables, pork and ribeyes steaks, other favorites.

Awesome grill.

This was way more than I was expecting. I have a smoker, and I also HAD a grill. I have replaced the grill with this griddle. If you simply don’t short cut the seasoning process, and follow the seasoning directions, which you can find on YouTube, you will enjoy this griddle. The dollar value I’ve gotten from this ifs unsurpassed. The clean up is literally just 3-5 minutes. You’ll not regret this purchase

Do It!

It is just as nice as our Blackstone with some cool features that the Blackstone doesn’t have for a great price. It wasn’t hard to put together. Nice how it folds up and doesn’t take up a much room on the deck when storing it.

As good as Blackstone

Excellent griddle for less than $200. I've had it for a couple of weeks and it works flawlessly. It was in perfect shape when unboxed, and my wife and myself put it together in about an hour,and we are in our sixties. Not one problem The side tables are huge, bigger than almost any other, and also fold up and over the top of the giddle when done cooking. It takes about 15 minutes to cool down before you can fold them up.I researched many griddles for about 3 months before choosing this one over a blackstone. I am so glad I did, Saved me over $230. over the blackstone.I might purchase another one to keep as a spare, just in case any thing happens to this that can't be fixed. such a good price.Two thumbs up to Sam's club for the great buy.

Great buy for a great griddle

Watch the tips on seasoning for a Blackstone on YouTube, worked exactly the same and have been using it and absolutely love it. For the money it is definitely worth it, the structure is pretty heavy duty and the burners and griddle are all good quality.

Pleasantly surprised

Only had it for a short while, but it goes together fairly easy and feels pretty solid.  Didn't realize that that side table surfaces are actually the griddle cover/lid until it was assembled and that they fold up to a more compact storage size.  It seasoned pretty easily and cooks very well the few times I've used it thus far.  The ignition system has also worked reliably to date without any difficulty.  Eggs and pancakes cook incredibly fast and some smash burgers came out flawlessly.
Only complaints are minor design choices.  The grease drain/trap is located in the front of the griddle which might risk losing a piece of food down it if you're moving things around.  And the side "tables" formed by the underside of the opened cover feel just a little undersupported.  More of an opinion at this point, but I'd be skeptical of putting something weighing more than a few pounds on it in case it damages the hinges.

Off to a great start

Great product so far after a month and 10+ cooks on it. Only issue I would say with it is the placement of the grease trap hole is hard to get used to and I wish it would heat a little more evenly. Product works great, but there’s nearly an 6” strip closest to the front that doesn’t heat very well compared to the rest of the grill and it’s hindered my ability to season full grill top properly. OVERALL 4.5/5 would recommend to anyone looking for an intro to flattops and not wanting to pay “big name” brand prices

Great Intro To Flattop (13 years culinary career)

Good grill for the price, but had a few areas that don’t heat up good..overall it works for what I need. Little disappointed that some parts were missing and wasn’t easy getting customer service to send them. One item still has not come, they blame changing warehouses is the problem. They should have better quality control to be sure all parts are included in box.

Good grill , but not the highest quality

We were so excited to use this, but by the third use, we noticed one of the rotating wheel weld block spots had come loose, causing the wheel/whole grill top to lean to the side where the wheel weld area broke.. I’m a little disappointed in the wheel location for the rotating wheels.. would be much better if they were in the straight leg and not hanging off a triangle piece that’s apparently barely welded together. Ugh.

Bought this flat top from Sam’s when it went on sale. I have personal experience with the older model and the Blackstone. The older model has stationary side tables. The new model has folding side tables which I think is a good idea. Well, I am disappointed because I had high hopes for this new design. The griddle cannot be leveled like the previous model because it is fixed. Assembly of the new model was very tedious. The older version came partially assembled and was easy to put together. Not so with the new model. There are literally over a hundred fasteners used to put this thing together so you better be a handy person. Once together I cleaned it before seasoning and there was a LOT of industrial dirt from the roll top process on the cast iron. My hands were black from handling it. I also noticed Chinese stamps on the flat top after cleaning. I seasoned it 5 times and it’s still not there. There is VERY uneven heating of the surface and the burners are offset from the front enough to where the front is considerably cooler than the area receiving the direct heat. The older model did not suffer from any of these problems and it is used frequently. I bought the older model right after COVID for the same price as this model. With all of these issues I have yet to cook on it due to the uneven seasoning but will give it a try this weekend. You pay for what you get.
