I like the durability and still dislike the childproof containers. However, the kindest gentleman took time to show me an easier way to access the batteries without as much trouble. I'm 78 y/o and have tremors in my hands so the packages had been problematic. Many thanks!

The batteries are great but the packaging...OMG!

The batteries themselves are just fine, really good, actually. I'm pleased and surprised to get so much time out of them. They are in use for 16-18 hours a day and I usually get 6.5 to 8 days of battery life depending on how much Bluetooth streaming I do. The problem is the packaging. I'm told the new more secure packaging is related to recent legislation to prevent accidental ingestion by children. I get that, but as often happens, the solution can be extreme and unnecessarily burdensome. I'm late middle age and am able to cut through the plastic but "it ain't easy". My wife who is 10 years younger just gave up without releasing a single battery when I asked her to give it a go. I just can't imagine how difficult it must be for an older person (14.5% of the US population over age 65 wearing hearing aids!) to get the batteries out of the silly package. Come on regulators, there must be a better way!
