A good trustworthy product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] “Medline” is a reputable name in the medical equipment industry. They make very good quality products. This bariatric transport wheelchair is good representation of that. It is built very sturdy with large rear wheels which makes it easy to push. Also it has removable armrests for easy transfers. It is a good quality product and I highly recommend this.
Heavy duty transport wheelchair
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This heavy duty transport wheelchair from medline is incredibly sturdy. Made from reinforced carbon steel, it can accommodate large individuals up to 500 lbs. The product came pre-assembled so no need to install except for the optional leg rest. The large 12” rear wheels glide smoothly over outdoor rough surfaces with minimal rolling resistance. The armrest is removable, allowing the caregiver to do side transfer easily. Few drawbacks from this product: Due to a heavy-duty build, this product is quite heavy. There is no handbrake provided; the caregiver must brake manually when going through steep ramps or slope driveways. Lacking of built-in seat cushion reduces comfort. Lastly, the width of the chair may not accommodate a standard doorway interior opening. One should check whether their doorway can fit this wheelchair to pass. Easy to maneuver and comfortable
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this for free to try. It was very easy to assemble. The size is a perfect size and the weight limit is good. It's a very nice looking wheelchair and works great. It is a smooth ride and turns very easy.
