The kit includes a battery case, securing straps and does not require any holes, screws, bolts, or additional hardware for installation. (Battery and motor not included) Included Battery Case will Fit Most Large or Small Deep Cycle Marine Batteries, Battery Cables are Routed Through Weather Proof Channel Flap in Battery Case, No Holes, Screws, Bolts, or Installation Hardware Required - Simply Slide into Place and Secure with Large Aluminum Locking Pin, Designed to fit on all Lifetime Sport Fisher and Lifetime Manta kayak models

Very well built

This motor mount is made of 6061 aircraft grade aluminum. It is TIG welded by certified welders in the USA. It is powder coated after welding and cleaning in an alkaline wash. It attaches with a very sturdy aluminum pin that passes through a mounting hole molded in the kayak hull. Two straps with quick release brass buckles prevent the motor mount from twisting. One side of the mount supports the motor and the other provides a place to secure the battery, a strong fabric battery bag with straps and a carry handle is included. This motor mount was specifically designed for the Manta/Sport Fisher kayak.
