Great product, family plays basketball all the time, easy to change heights for the small kids and the hoop has not fallen in any strong gusts.  One of the small net hook welds failed and fell off the rim, covered under warranty and new rim is on its way.

This is a very solid item. 
Putting it together was easy except for two bolts.  The spot to get the two bolts in (back of backboard), had too much paint in the hole, so it took a bit of force to get the bolts through. The rest of the assembly went smoothly. The boys helped, felt proud they could assemble this as well. We have it up and the boys love it!!! We would definitely recommend this product!

Built like a tank! This is a sturdy product. It is not easy to put together and you really do need two adults working in it; however the instructions are very thorough and the packaging makes it very easy to identify all the pieces for assembly (individual bags are labeled and contain all the pieces for each step in the directions). Customer service was very responsive despite operating during a pandemic. Very pleased with my purchase, but not as much as my kids are now that they can play hoops at home and social distance responsibly.

Serious slam dunk product!

My daughter purchased this for my grand son and had me put it together. I screwed up the main pole the couldn’t get it apart so I cut it with a saw and really screwed it up. But when I call to order a new one your customer service was the best I ever had the pleasure to contact. She didn’t charge me for a new pole, which I wasn’t expecting. So thanks u r Great, I spoke to an English speaking person and solved my problem better then I expected. P.S have the directions to build a little clearer and this problem would of never happen.

I have had the Lifetime 54” adjustable portable hoop for over a year. The rim unfortunately was damaged in a wind event. The representative from lifetime was so helpful in assisting me through the process. It was very easy and seamless dealing with him.

Replacement basketball run for my Lifetime 54” set

If at all possible, I would recommend picking this item up at the store.  The box was damaged in the last one we bought.  Hope everything is in there and not broken.  It is a Christmas gift.  We purchased this same model last year and it has held up well.  It looks just like new after a year of sitting outside.  Using the box lid for a work surface worked well.  Read and follow the directions carefully.  Many folks thought they were not well written, but we did ok.  Just have to think through what is to be done.  Did not choose to use sand or water for fill, got the small bag of material that absorbs water to fill the base.  It held up well through temps from 10-100 degrees.  Was able to roll the goal into the garage when hurricane winds were expected.  Great family gift.

High quality, reasonable price...

Great quality. Great instructions. Great shipping.
One could put this together in a few hours (two people needed at times). I, on the other hand, have taken a week! Actually, it's because of weather issues (rain). I know I am going to be very happy with this purchase.

Fun to put together...

Looks good, but is Painful process to put it together. Lot of metal bolts and instructions / guide can be improved

Assembly and poor instructions

The hoop is very nice, but, contrary to some of the product information, it is not portable without emptying the water and sand in the base. If you plan to put it in one spot and keep it there permanently, it will work great. But if you want to move it frequently in and out of a street or driveway then it is very difficult to do because it is so heavy.

Not a Portable Hoop

I paid for "professional assembly" since some reviews mentioned difficulty assembly. Professional just means you pay for it-- doesn't mean the guys they send have ever done or have a clue what they are doing. Can't adjust the height. My money was totally wasted. I'd got with a company with their own assembly crew unless you just love DIY.
