We knew our prior were worn out, but had no idea the difference 10 years of technology makes!! Yet another LG product that we love. Slowly replacing the appliances that were left in our home with LG products. Have never been as happy as we have with LG.

Stunned. Absolutely amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ...the old stack I had.  A big leap in washing tech, reads the load and designs a best dryer plan.  It just barely fit in the space of the old stack after making minor mods to the water cutoffs (vertical vs horiz) and adding 90 deg turn hoses too - so measure several times to be sure.   Clothes come out super clean, and washer is easy to keep dry and odor free.  A giant thick bathrobe in the same load as a pillow is enough to unbalance and block from high spin in the washer, so make smart choices when doing the infrequent unusual items.  Otherwise, the combo is 100%   :)

Fits, full featured, and much quieter than......

The washing capacity is great. The dryer, drys fast, and without wrinkles. I would highly recommend it. If you’re not sure if you want to purchase the LG wash center, do it, you won’t regret it.

Linda, my beautiful lady, who gets distressed just hearing about electronics, digitalization of any form and any home device that does not have knobs and dials, was not that happy with the suggestion that we would be getting a new Washer/Dryer Tower, especially one that has electronic touch controls.
So, when we received our beautiful LG appliance on August 6, 2022, she saw the recommendation in the owner’s manual to read all of the operating instructions before actually using it. She read the instructions twice, and that helped a lot.
Both of us now have tried many of the various features, and this washer/dryer tower is performing well. We believe that it is both efficient and effective.
The old guy, me, will get around eventually to installing the LG App on his smartphone.

Good instruction manual, efficient and effective

My mom is visually impaired and is able to use this machine which is wonderful! I love the large capacity in such a compact machine! Fits Perrin a small space!

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve had the machine for two weeks.  First front load and first stackable we’ve owned.  Since we modify almost all default settings, it has taken some getting used to (we like cold water wash and light heating dry), but it gets the job done in less time and better than our old top load set by another maker.  Very quiet; no agitator, which tore things and always got unbalanced on the old machine, so no babysitting needed.  Drys better when sort by size and fabric like the manual says, but sometimes needs a second (timed dry) pass.  Fits well physically in our older house.  Energy efficient also.  Well made, built to last.  Wish the drum lights were automatic for loading and unloading, but overall great —- very pleased.  First LG appliance also.

Modern machine does it all

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before buying this , I had an older side by side washer and dryer. It was very noisy and took forever to wash and dry our clothes. Our new unit is very quiet and has multiple settings that quickly washes and drys everything. Even the spin cycle, which was quite noisy on the old unit, is quieter and takes less time. We are very, very happy with our new LG.

So quiet!!

This is a beautiful, solidly designed machine. It is much quieter than my previous all-in-one, and I love that the controls are all at the center of the unit(s). 
For all the intelligent design, however, I cannot fathom why the water temp, especially is so non-adjustable. "Normal" wash cycle will not let you set it for cold water. Why not? Many people and many detergents, have switched to using cold water routinely, to save money and energy use. I have to pretend I'm washing "Bedding" to be able to use cold water. Same problem with "Normal" drying. ONLY high heat is allowed there. I have not used high heat in 20 years. So, again, "Bedding" is my setting. This seems really dumb.

Well designed mechanically, but not enough choice

Getting a repairman out has been a nightmare. Still waiting for a serviceman. I’m so disappointed in the process of getting a repair under warranty. Everything is automated-no humans to speak to. So frustrated!!
