[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This LG washer is quite beautiful. Love the full glass top. It is soft close. One of the best features for me, so far, is the automatic detergent dispenser. There is also an automatic fabric softener dispenser, but you have the option to set that as a second detergent dispenser. This is a great option for us as we typically don't use a liquid fabric softener, but we do switch back and forth between two different detergents. The automatic dispensers are a game changer as we have teenagers that tend to use too much detergent.
Huge capacity! Even though it is large capacity, I do not have an issue with reaching items in the bottom of the tub as I did with our last washer. That is a huge plus for me! 
There are a lot of preset cycles to choose from, or you can create your own through the settings menu. The cycle you set shows the time to complete and I find that it has been pretty accurate.  The AI cycle is new to me, but a neat concept that I am exploring. The spin cycle did a great job on the towels, which cuts down on drying time. Little to no vibration during the spin cycle. Pretty Impressed!
Using the LG ThinQ app, you can do even more customizations. A couple of fun ones are you can change the startup greeting screen (ours is currently a snowman) and tune that plays when a cycle is finished. You can also get an alert on your phone or watch through the app when the cycle is finished.
The built-in faucet is perfect for treating stains or a quick rinse if you don't have a sink in your laundry room. 
Overall, we have been happy with this purchase. Such a great upgrade to get you through some mundane chores.

I can finally wash my king-size comforter without feeling like I'm about to break the machine, which is great. What is also surprising is that it runs quietly, which is a nice change from my old one, which was so noisy. It just feels like a solid upgrade that does its job well.

I recently purchased the LG washer and I am extremely impressed with its performance. Not only does it clean my clothes thoroughly, but it also operates quietly and efficiently. Overwhelmed

Overall the washing machine is good.  It is a little complicated to use.  Getting it to default to using cold water and not use fabric softener was much harder than it should be.  It is fairly quiet, has great capacity and has a great selection of cycles.  
My biggest complaint is the sloped lid.  You can't put anything on top of it without it falling off.

This was our 4th LG washer.  We loved them until this one.  Here are what we feel are deal breakers and why we sent it back.
1. Not enough water in the Normal setting and no way to add more without restarting the cycle.  Even the Deep Wash sometimes isn't enough.  LG says that this is their biggest complaint. 

2 Doesn't add enough detergent.  If you use the Deep Wash it's even worse because I dont think it adds anymore than normal.  We had to add manually after it starts the Wash cycle. 

3. If you use the Deep Wash and hot water the condensation on the inside of the lid can drip out and down the side of the washer and onto the floor.  It's because the lid is at an angle. 

4.  Maybe we're picky but you see every fingerprint or smear on the black glass lid.  Get used to it looking dirty.

5.  Since the water levels aren't right it doesn't wash well.  Too little water and it will really wear your clothes out quickly.   Too much and it won't agitate briskly enough to wash well.

6.  Over-designed.  Too much tech that makes it harder to use, rather than easier.   Too many steps to start a load.  It's a washer, not a starcruiser!

7. One good thing.  It's nice and quiet.  If that's your only criteria than you're good to go.  If washing a load of clothes is your thing then check out the LG WT7150.
Simpler, does a better wash job and will save you some money.

Too much tech, too little water.

I just replace my washer and dryer they were 19 years old. The only reason that I change them was becaue they do not carrie the parts any more. Quality the old one better. I got a top loader and I am not happy I wish I can change them for a front loader again. The only thing is to open the front loader is hard an as we age it gets hard on the hands.

Cloth comes out very wrinkle from the washer.

Do not order this washing machine unless you want to wait a month and get the run around from everyone involved with this sale. It's expensive just for you to get told 4 different new “delivery dates” and the one that's through Sam's Club is apparently the delivery date for the product to get delivered to the hub. The next 4 is the ones that you set up from the 3rd party that is hired to deliver to you and they will reschedule at 10:40PM through text the night before saying it's getting pushed back 2 more days and so forth. When you talk to Sam's Club, they say that LG is the “3rd party” they go through and then LX Pantos is the “3rd party LG goes through for delivery and I've called every single one of them and not a single person can guarantee my order can be delivered on the 8th delivery date I got. Not to mention, I explained to every single one of these people that my husband and I have had to make arrangements with our jobs to make sure one of us is home to have it delivered and every time this effects our work schedules and is taking off of work and not a single person acts like they care. I asked to speak with a manager through LG to get something to happen and they couldn't send me to a manager because they don't have one there currently and would need all of my info to relay the message and I would get a call back within 1-2 hours afterwards. Super disappointed that Sam's Club even allows this behavior for their members and  when I bring it up to them they just shrug it off and say sorry.

Not worth the hassle of your time

Junk. Limited loads, not even a soak cycle. No place for pods. Loud. Lid gets gross easily because it isn’t fingerprint resistant. App is a joke. You can’t run a small load without using the app. It has made my laundry time twice as long and much more difficult. I hate this thing so much I don’t even have the words for it.
