[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only had this unit for a month, but it has been the highlight of our kitchen renovation which has taken months to complete (mostly due to Covid and shipping times of cabinets).  Only issue is that, I was not getting craft ice after 72 hours but a simple reset of the in-freezer ice maker and I was all set in about 10 hours.  We went from a single door refrigerator to the double doors so getting used to the lost door shelving space took a bit but the quality design and space on the interior made up for that rather quickly.  I would definitely recommend.

The added freezer tray keeps frequently used foods a finger-tip access while the remaining freezer space can be used for other storage. Convenient Design and lots of Storage Space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fridge is great the insta-view is awesome. The app that connects to it via wifi is great too it warns you if a door is left open too long and let's you adjust settings and temperatures from anywhere. And the door in door is great for stuff like drinks so you don't have to open the full door out to get a drink. The only thing they could improve on is the dividers in the snack drawer there's no way to lock them in place, and the shelves on the ice maker if they were only 1/2 in deeper they would be a lot more useful, as it is its hard to squeeze a small bottle of ketchup in one of them.

My family of 4 always has a fresh supply of fruits or veggies to choose from. Food stays fresh longer in this fridge. We had an issue with the craft ice maker not working. They came out and replaced the whole craft ice maker portion and now it works. It was super easy to get the replacement.

Biggest and best refrigerator ever

I bought this refrigerator just over a month ago and we love all the features it has. Especially the craft ice maker is one of our favorite. The space is fantastic and the quick access door works even better than expected. I didn't realize I wanted one until I had the experience. The only flaw (if you want to call it that) is that the water dispenser does not provide cold water. The water that comes out is room temperature water where in all the other refrigerators I have owned they provide chilled water. I called customer service and they stated that due to the small reservoir and its location, the water does not chill. That is literally the only complaint we have with the refrigerator and its not something that will make or break the decision. We are enjoying it very much.

Great product with only minor flaw

That one lived only five years, matching every single GE branded fridge I had before. Therefore, it was time for moving to something new. After reading many reviews, I was a thorn of buying this LG. I loved the design and the new features. The water dispenser, separate from the water, the craft ice, the easy access glass door, and the digital integration with wifi. I worried about the bad reviews. However, none of the problems reported were accurate. The only problem was with me. I should have triple-checked the dimensions. The crew who installed it had trouble moving it through my utility room door. They did an excellent job. In hindsight, I should have bought the counter depth. To clarify, I also have a brand new sub-zero 42-inch fridge in my kitchen, so this is our backup fridge where our LG washer/drier is. The quality is much lower than subzero {as expected}, but for the price, it looks and works great. I will have to see how long it will go.

Great refrigerator that lives to the hype!

Firstly, is a huge plastic taste to the water and ice, which took a couple weeks to resolve.  We tasted the water just before the fridge, so it seems like something with the fridge, perhaps the filter.

The ice balls are a kind of gimicky, unneeded feature, but the kids think they're cool, so they're fun.  It takes freezer space though, so there's that.  Unfortunately, the craft icemaker started leaking water directly into the bin and not working.  It was fixed under warranty, but it seems like folks have problems with that so now I'm nervous.  Tech in a new fridge should "just work".

I'm on my 2nd repair of this featured addition it's now back ordered and could be months also did some research LG is very aware of this flaw but have yet to come up with a solution so for all intents and purposes it's a great refrigerator but until the fix the flaw I'd buy the version without craft ice if I were to do it again

Awesome refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought it about 6 months ago to replace my old one. Initially lots expectations due to the new technology of insta-view and other newer technology things. The overall design for different kinds of food items with drawer divisions and shelves but we are are disappointed with several things on the design and total quality of components: 1.- the lack of good design to accommodate large bottle (wine bottles as example) 2. Too deep to reach the back and change the air filter. 3.- low quality material in the water dispenser trigger; it is plastic (I believe) and got marks(scratches) very easily from normal use. If it was SS like the  rest of the exterior body should not have that.
