LEGO Icons Road Bike Building Set, 1015 pc.

There's not a lot to say about this build except it was super fun with just enough challenge to make it interesting…..basically a perfect build. Building the rims, a first for Lego, was super cool as was the gears and the pedals. In fact the set features a brand new single way spur gear which allows the bike to freewheel. The spur gear that the pedals attach to is the biggest Lego gear, made specifically for this set. But for me, the best part of this set is the chain mechanism which spins the rear wheel. Just a totally enjoyable build. The final build looks amazing! In fact, I was surprised to see how big it was, pleasantly surprised. I love that you can take the bike off the display stand. It's very solid and sturdy and can be moved around easily. The chain moves the back wheel, the handlebars move the front wheel and the water bottle is removable. This is an awesome build and one that will be displayed proudly in my collection. On to the next one……Happy Building!
