I am very picky when it comes to turkey sausage because some turkey sausages brand doesn’t taste that pleasant however these are really good and my favorite thing to do is to get the Sam’s croissant, eggs, and cheese and make a breakfast SEC sandwich.

These are great for the price and flavor

Excellent flavor and great replacement for the higher fat and calories of traditional pork breakfast sausage. Does it taste the same? Of course not! But, it's a great alternative!

Healthy Alternative

My husband doesn't eat pork. These Jimmy Dean fully cooked turkey sausage patties are a welcome addition in our freezer! Individually seal-wrapped in groups of four. From freezer to microwave to plate super fast!

Good flavor and no pork

I'm a vegetarian.  But I have to get good quality meats for my Chihuahua, who is on strong heart meds that make her not eat. So I buy her things that I think would be irresistible, and these fill the bill. She lives them!

I didn't buy these for myself

Turkey is not as heavy in tummy. Great side with eggs, and toast of English muffin. Filling but not heavy. Seasoned well. I prefer the links, but haven’t seen them in store in a long time. These are a good substitute.

Filling but not heavy

Bought these to make my own breakfast sandwiches real quick. Main complaint is that they are so tiny. They are about the diameter of a bottle cap to a 64 oz bottle of juice. That's not very big if your making a sandwich but for turkey sausage or bacon you don't have many options so either buy it or dont

Too small for sandwiches

Tried these to replace the pork sausage patties in order to reduce saturated fats.  Found them to be dry, but they had an okay flavor.  Probably won’t buy them again.

Not a fan

In an effort to reduce my fat intake I switched to turkey bacon  -- then I discovered Jimmy Dean turkey sausage patties. I like Jimmy Deans Pork sausage patties so I thought I would try the turkey version.
I have tried to prepare these in a way that might "soften" them up a little and have failed. The taste is not great, the texture is extremely chewy, Boiling didn't help, pan frying was better but not much. Microwaving was a complete bust.

Not for me!

These are fresh, not frozen sausages. When I got home , I realized that they had a use by date over a month before my purchase. I was shocked Sams would sell expired fresh meat. Quality control at this store is not great. Had to make another trip to get a refund.

Expired food products

It had a date on it that was 3wks old prior. I should’ve been paying attention to the date but my small children were with me so I was in a rush. I always check the dates and I missed that one
