Outstanding technical support for TurboTax 2025
Possibly due to a Microsoft update, I was unable to open TurboTax2025, one day after completing the tax submission information. I was able to contact Ms. Kelly, in western Tennessee, who provided excellent support in replacing my software with a uncorrupted version of TurboTax 2025. I was able review and submit my tax returns. Ms. Kelly was very professional, friendly and patient, as it required some time to correct the problem. She is an outstanding representative of Intuit-TurboTax. You are fortunate to have her as an employee.
Improvements to IN State Form for Foreign income
I could not find a way to access Indiana State Schedule 6 (for credits for taxes paid to a foreign country) from the software directly. I had to go to Forms and force it to open Schedule 6 and enter information on to the form directly. When it asks at the beginning if there are income earned in other states and taxes paid to other states, it only allows me to pick a state in the US and not a foreign country. If that option was available, perhaps the software would automatically bring up IN State Schedule 6 related inputs.
My Experience
TurboTax is very thorough. My taxes are complicated, but it is able to handle every situation. Also, when you enter one amount at the point where it is requested, the program automatically puts it in all the other boxes where it is required. The explanation boxes are very informative.
