I've had mine just shy of two weeks and use it daily. I got the 18 because I needed a smaller cooler that is easy to move from one place to another as it is only 23 pounds empty. Verify the temperature at a glance and adjusting the temperature couldn't be more simple. Perfect to load with drinks and cold foods for taking to the beach and on long road trips. No more worries of submerging hands in ice water to find your cold drink. Less ice equals more room for drinks and cold foods. No more soggy, dripping labels. The Interior lighting is perfect in the evenings and at night. I am still awaiting the need to use it as a freezer. I love this cooler.

My ICF18 works well!

Our use case is unique - my wife has permanent nerve pain and requires frozen medical ice to reduce her pain - at home and when traveling. I purchased the ICF18 cooler as a 12V DC portable freezer, which has kept our medical ice at 0°f in hot summer weather on two regional trips I'm confident that using an ICF Igloo cooler to keep food or refreshments chilled for normal picnic and family events will be a lay-up.

Portable Mobile Refrigerator!

I really liked my Igloo ICF-18! As it turns out it fit perfectly between the front seats on my Mercedes-Benz Metris and it’s convenient to get cold water while on the road! I power it through the 12v outlet with the 12v cable when I’m on the road. When I’m parked I power it with my Anker C1000 through the 110 outlet with the 110 cable. It’s really nice to have the convenience of having a refrigerator in my van! I keep drinks and food cold without having to worry about getting ice or dealing with water everywhere! It’s light weight that I can carry and take out before my next trip. I use the same portable dolly for my Anker C1000 to move it around the house. I’m planning on having ice cream on my next trip!
