so far so good, havent had it very long so can give a big review, its a nice unit, works as it should

Bought this to replace an older one and simply love it,just the right size for my needs.

Overall the freezer was great for a deep freezer. I really liked the LED readout on front.
But losing a whole freezer full of food- not cool. Just out of warranty even more not cool.

Failed after 13 months on 12 month warranty.

Purchased early October and began having fan/cooling issues in DECEMBER! Attempting to contact Hamilton Beach for warranty is proving to be extremely difficult to say the least. EXTREMELY unhappy about this purchase! I cannot reach anyone as they are never available. Email link takes you to a snail mail address. They really expect me to mail them a letter in 2024 to get a warranty service for a product that lasted a couple months? Really now?

Extremely unhappy!

I bought this freezer from Sams, and it was delivered 2/28/2025 and it broke 11/13/2025. I lost a full freezer full of food. You are not dealing with Sams or Hamilton Beach it is a company out of Canada Curtis international. They are not helpful, and Sams will only tell you to contact the company. Sams was no help ether. I am still trying to work it out, 11 days later. I have had to send all type of pictures and even a video. 5 days later after the last email and no response or resolution.  I thought I loved it when I bought the 1st one, so I bought a second one. Now I am afraid the other one will break now.

bad customer service and repair

Bought this and the extended warranty one year one month it completely went out. Called out  an independent repair company who could not get a hold of Curtis international which is the maker of Hamilton Beach I tried myself for weeks via email just to get the same response over and over to call out technician but  technician is unable to repair it. They do not have a manual they do not know how to repair it and they do not have the ability to buy aftermarket parts or even original parts because none are available, the control panel went out. It is JUNK with a faulty motherboard and it’s  JUNK ! This item needs to be reported and recalled at best and at minimum supply some assistance for repair!
