If you don’t eat it all right away it spoils very quickly. I’ve tried various methods to stop the wilting but nothing seems to work. I hope they keep the price low.

Wilts so easily

Bag has good blend of lettuce, carrots and red cabbage. Ready to go in short notice. The lettuce cut is a medium chop, some larger chunks may be in the mix, which is hubby's fav part of mix. Appears to last a few days after being opened, so one can use a little over several days and not worry the rest of opened bag will wilt out quickly. Squeeze out any excess air from bag and close tightly if using over several days. Air is the enemy once bag opened. Enjoy crispy lettuce and value with this find.

Appreciate the value

It is mostly iceberg lettuce. The rest is red cabbage and carrots. It’s a great combination for me. No washing. Just in a bowl, add dressing, toss and eat. I have this everyday. 2lbs and under $3. Can’t beat it. Just check the date. Typically it stays great 2-3 days before expiration if kept refrigerated. You can often still eat it a day or two after the date.

Best band for buck. Great salad maker

I know it’s all iceberg lettuce, but I was disappointed in how many “core” pieces were in the bag. I’m sure it’s difficult to remove/keep track of them during processing. I’d suggest mixing this with some leaf lettuce and other vegetables for SURE.

Several hard pieces!

Good price but once you open the bag, be sure to finish it quickly as it starts to go brown almost immediately within a few days. I've had salad that's lasted longer.

Feedback

This salad is delicious however if you can’t eat it in two days you are throwing away your money. It only lasts two days after opening. I really like the amount of carrots in the salad it make it crunchy and tasty.

Delicious

When we first tried this product, it was fresh, however you really have to watch which bag you choose as some were browning and not looking 'fresh'.  Cost wise it is within normal range and very affordable.

Choose carefully, taste is average

After opening, it barely lasts a couple of days. I love the convenience for a salad since it has cabbage and carrots included but doesn’t last like normal spring mix or other salads.

Doesn’t last

It use to be better before they put it in the walk in fridge. It goes bad really fast now. Before the expiration date. A lot of the bags look like its frozen and the lettuce is already browning on the edges. So you have to look through all the bags to find a half way good one. Its an excellent price on it as long as you can eat it all by the 2nd day. Im still buying it cause even if i only eat half the bag and have to trash the other half its still cheaper than anywhere else. I wish they would take it out of the walkin fridge like it use to be.

Sams dont put it in the walkin fridge!

Horrible  turned brown in 2 days .It’s not with the gas to drive 12 miles .Request a refund back to my Sam’s account .Ihave been shopping at Sam’s for many years the quality has changed !!
