Quality Camera with Wide Angles

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I already have the Instax Mini 40 which is a manual camera so this was fun to compare it to. I also don't have a wide Polaroid so I was excited to try it out in comparison to the minis. I was gracious to receive two packs of film so I took a bunch of pictures and have posted a few that are now staples on my fridge. You have to mess around with the lighting since it's an automatic camera, I definitely had some "flukes" that I tossed.  One key is to make sure you aren't FACING a window while taking it, rather have your back to the window. Indoor with overhead lighting needs to be bright in order to capture a coherent image so darker lit rooms may give you some difficulty. It comes with a 2 level stand which can be attached to the camera if need be and has 2 separate square pieces to prop the camera on. The selfie lens is really nice, though I do not have it pictured, it allows you to take up close shots with a mirror so you can see if you're truly capturing yourself. There is a self timer that can be set in increments of 2 seconds up to 10. Once you roll this timer you still get time to click the shutter button. It won't just start counting down sporadically which is a really nice feature. Overall I'm definitely adding this to my Instax collection as it features many things my Mini 40 doesn't. It's nice to switch things up.

The Fujifilm Instax Wide 400 has been met with mixed reviews, primarily due to its minimal improvements over its predecessor, the Instax Wide 300. While the camera boasts a larger print size, simple point-and-shoot functionality, and automatic exposure, it lacks many modern features expected in newer models

Perfect resolution on the pictures , it is a little bit heavy and bigger than what I thought but it comes with the neck accessory so it made easier to carry it.

Fun way to take photos!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was happy to receive this gift! I always wanted one but never got to it! Decent camera, large in size. I’m still working on my angles and shots. With time I will get better. I like the color. In addition, the attachments like the shoulder brace and angle holder I could not get. Instructions were not clear enough for me to get. I can’t wait to use this camera to create more memories.

Used their batteries and Duracell batteries but everytime I would take a picture, the ejection arm that lifts the film would get caught on the film and get stuck.  Sometimes even unlatching from the lifter. Wasted 2 film cartridges, which is 20 films +2 how they advertise it.  Trash. This is why I’m sticking with Polaroid.

Instax

This camera captures great quality however the battery compartment always seems to have an issue. There is a blinking error code that occurs when i close the camera and open it which doesn’t allow it to function. Researching the code I’ve found that the camera is having issues with the batteries. I adjust them, the camera works, rinse and repeat every time I go without using the camera more than an hour later. I have used other brands of batteries, replaced the film packs, stored the camera in safe conditioned spaces between uses and the same thing repeats over and over.

I assumed this was a faulty camera and returned it and purchased another. The second one has the same issue and has now gone through about 3 film packs and 12 sets of batteries (battery plus brand, Duracell, and energizer). The error code still appears. 

It’s embarrassing to have to mess with the batteries in front of my friends and family just to hope this error goes away or doesn’t worsen. 

Quality of the photos is a 5, quality of the camera is a 0. This is the first Polaroid/instax camera in my collection of cameras that has disappointed me to this degree. I will also be reaching out to support directly.
