Use Instructions For best results, do not mix with non-clumping cat litter. For first time use, start with an empty, clean cat litter box. Fill your clean litter box with 3 to 4 inches of Fresh Step Cat Litter. Remove clumps and solids daily and dispose in trash. Do not flush. The rest of the litter stays fresh. Add more Fresh Step Cat Litter to refresh your litter box each time you scoop. Maintain level of litter at 3 to 4 inches.

Perfect little for special kittys

Great for multiple cats and odor in small spaces

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great absorption and odor protection for a kitty litter that is unscented. We have three cats so tracking was a huge thing for us but I can safely say this was much better than other brands. It is a little heavy but I assume that comes with having a great working product.

I am a professional petsitter and go to homes of clients to care for their pets. So when I say I clean a lot of litter boxes I DO! Fresh Step is the best litter I've found and I often recommend it to my clients. Too often I walk into a clients home and the first thing I smell is the litter - even if it's not "dirty." As a professional, I am sensitive to it. I have 2 cats of my own and the litter odor stays fresh way longer than I would expect it to - or is even posted on the bag. I prefer the unscented to avoid any chemical smells and am so happy to have found Fresh Step in an unscented line.
