Your AC filter will help pull and capture countless particles such as pollen and pet dander. It's easy to install first removes the plastic from the packing, second found the blower motor, replaced the filter into unit spot. Don't have any odor.

With having 3 cats I like that this was created specifically for households with pets to control all the extra dust and dander from them.

Works great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just switched to the 3M Filtrete 700 Dust, Pollen + Pet Dander filter, and honestly, I can already tell the difference. My home feels fresher and cleaner, especially since we have a dog that sheds a lot.
What I like the most is how easy it was to install — it fit perfectly into my HVAC system (mine’s a Honeywell). The airflow is still strong, but the air feels lighter, if that makes sense. I used to sneeze a lot in the morning, and that’s noticeably better after just a few days of use.
This filter is rated MERV 11, which means it catches fine dust, pollen, and pet dander really well. It’s not the top of the line, but it’s perfect for everyday use if you want a good balance between air quality and price.
They say it lasts up to 12 months, but I’ll probably change it every 6–9 months since we have pets. For the price and the performance, I think it’s totally worth it.
If you’ve been dealing with allergies or pet hair floating around your house — this is definitely a solid upgrade!
