[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have tried many different brands on many occasions and depends always sets the bar high. 

These are very discreet, very absorbents, and at some points forget you are wearing them. Highly recommended

I've been using Guards for years.  They had been working very well.   I recently bought a new stock.  The packaging looked different and the package was smaller for the same quantity.   
The pads are smaller and more prone to leaks.  If I can't get the old style, I may need to change brands.

New style is not good

My husband has been using the Depends maximum protection guards for years. Now the pads are thinner and he is experiencing side leaks and slippage of the pads. We are not happy with the changes to these pads.

Recent design changes slip and leak!

This is a new and improved product in. It leaks when you bend over. The previous product was superior which I've been using for years.

New and improved is not improved

I have been using Depends Men Guards for 33 years with total satisfaction.  This new design and protection are a total failure. I am using 2 and 3 times more pads in addition experiencing greater leakage.  Why did you try to fix what isn't broken?????

New and Improved disaster.

Very disappointed in the new Fresh Protection guards. They are no where near as absorbent as the previous product. Combined with the smaller size they just don't offer the same level of protection.
 Been using Depend Guards for years. Now have to look for alternatives.

New Fresh Protection Guards Disappoint

Whoever designed these has obviously never had to wear them.  The old design wasn't perfect either, but theh were thicker and because they were thicker it allowed the male "anatomy" to sort of form a pocket that kept said anatomy situated in the center of the pad.  The new ones are thin.  Because they are thin, they allow for too much movement.  There are times when I find that my manhood has moved to the 3 o'clock or 9 o'clock position and the business end may be completely missing the pad.  Also, the adhesive is not as strong verses the old version.  Maybe if the wings on the new ones had adhesive it would be better.  The wings tend to get scrunched up towards the center of the pad.  Also, if the new pads had some type of pocket formed into them in the center to keep things in place.  If you listen to your customers and take the advice of people who have to live with your product everyday, you might be able to produce the best incontinence pad on the planet.  So far you have gone backwards from mediocre design to a horrible design.

New version is horrible!  Listen to your customer!

The new version does not have enough structure to stay cupped and causes significant leaks.  Please bring back the previous version.  You had the best and now you may have the worse product.  How did a faulty design get released?

Worse than the previous version!!

The new Depend Men's shield leaks on sides. The outer barrier is too short and causes brief to get wet. I don't understand why Manufacturer has to ruin what was a great product. I will definitely look for a replacement that works better.

Poorly designed

My husband does NOT like the new Depends Guards. He has been using them for 20 plus years & now you try to improve on them & only make them worse. They leak & don't fit like the old ones.
