Life is too short to settle for something that will make you regret buying it over the years.  That's why I re evaluated what I really wanted in a sandwich press.  I found the Cuisinart Griddler to have everything I looked for in a sandwich press.  When I received it, I was so excited to cook my first sandwich on it.  Came out perfect the first time!!  So I got a little daring and tried a steak in it.  Came out  perfect!!   I could not ask for any product better than this one.  I looked around my kitchen and realized I have a lot of Cuisinart products.  What a coincidence, I don't think so. Great products are always great products!

I’ve owned other panini presses but this one out performs others.  The ease of cleaning is a plus!

So easy to use and I love how convenient it is to have. Easy to take the trays off to wash. Heats up quick and perfect to have. Definitely recommend.

cons: no on off switch...plug in or pull plug out
          the top of the unit gets hot to the touch

panini press

It's been almost a month since we got this panini press and we haven't had any problem so far. Plates are nice. They are easy to clean and nothing sticks on them. It's not really big though, I can only make two sandwiches at the same time, but it's okay for my space.

This is my first Panni press, I read reviews on many products prior to choosing this one. It is easy to use, has lots of room for those thicker sandwiches. It cooks evenly and if you layer your sandwich right it will melt the cheese perfectly.  Just buy this one !! You can't go wrong

The Best

We are enjoying the press and have used it frequently.  My only improvement suggestion is when you press a thick bread roll, the lid does not tilt enough to cover entire roll. So I press one side and then turn roll and press other side. This is happening with a thick ciabatta roll. If this could be improved would give 5 star.  I do like the pan removal feature for cleaning.
Would we be doing something wrong with the press? Thanks

Panini Press - Lid Opening

We could not get the top to hinge properly, so the sandwiches were pinned tighter at the back. Consequently, the sandwich was wedge-shaped. I look at every online tutorial I could find and there was no instruction on how to get the two plane to lie perpendicular. All the other features were great, but it was useless and has now been taken to a thrift store.
