Doesn’t lose liquid or temperature

Contigo travel mugs are the greatest invention for coffee drinkers ever!!  They keep my coffee hot until the last drop, AND they don’t leak!  I can’t count the times I’ve dropped or accidentally knocked over my coffee mug, and not a drop is spilled!  And they come in stunning colors!  I am never without my Contigo travel mug!

We bought 2 sets of these because we like them so well. They are a true 16oz, so a bit smaller than the previous ones, but no issues. Solid. Well insulated. Keeps things at temp for a couple of hours. No leaks. Like the improved lid/locking mechanism. Not too many choices of color combinations. Does not appear that coating will chip/peel like previous ones. Very Happy at this point.

I have had my Contigo West Loop 16 oz for over 20 years. That is not a typo. It fits perfect under my Keurig brew spout as well as in all models of car holders. It has fallen from my purse to the asphalt & only gotten a small ding, which hasn't affected it in any way. I can fill it with hot water & insert a tea bag, screw on the top & have perfect steeped hot tea. You can drink from it while lying down on a sick or lazy day without leaks. I have always hand washed mine & soaked the lid & used a brush to clean. Definitely a durable mug built for longevity.

Item not what I expected

The lid IS leakproof BUT the bottle is not double wall. It forms condensation on the outside. When I fill it with ice and water the ice melts within a few hours.
