This coffee is really enjoyable. And great flavor and a great aroma. I enjoy coffee and even with this being Decaf it was nice to know there is more selection at sams then just Folgers decaf. I would recommend this to my mother as she can’t really have caffeine in her diet.

Taste Good

This coffee was roasted in Denver, Colorado. I did a little research and found that they roast it at a higher altitude for a shorter amount of time at a lower temperature, making sure the beans don't burn.  Some of the funds go to help the farming communities to build schools for the next generation.  But really, it has a great flavor and there are even other flavors to choose from.  I would have added other pictures but the coffee is all gone.  It's a really good coffee.  We like to ground our own beans and then enjoy the coffee.  Feels like it is homemade.  We give it 5 stars.

Boyer's Coffee

I make my own blends. This decaf when blended, retains the boldness flavor with the full leaded coffee but allows for toning down the caffeine and just enjoy the flavor.

Great dark roast for decaf

I was suppose to recieve the Boyers decaf whole beans but was shipped the beans with caffine. When I opened the bag, the smell was amazing as I was sent hazelnut beans. The whole beans were easy to grind and made a smooth flavorful coffee. I would purchase these again but in the decaf for myself.

Amazing whole beans

As a dad of two energetic boys, mornings can be a whirlwind—but this coffee keeps us fresh and ready to take on the day. 

The rich, smooth flavor is just right—not too strong, not too light and the  decaf option is perfect for enjoying a cup anytime without worrying about caffeine overload. The whole beans ensure that every brew is fresh and aromatic, filling the kitchen with that inviting coffeehouse scent.

Fresh coffee

A great decaf dark roast.  The only negative is that Boyer's once packaged this coffee in 2.5 pound bags.  To save money they've reduced that to 2.25 pounds and increased the price.  Not okay!!

Great dark roast decaf

I do not normally drink decaf coffee but I would not have known the difference.  This coffee still had the nice full bodied flavor that I enjoy.  There was no bitter after taste even though this is a dark roast and I was able to enjoy without my normal creamer.

Smooth Full-Bodied Flavor

I used this coffee for my cold brew, and I have to say—it delivered exactly what I was hoping for. The flavor came through rich, full-bodied, and smooth, with zero bitterness or acidity that sometimes sneaks in when you steep the wrong roast too long. It held up beautifully even after several hours in the fridge, and each sip had that deep, chocolatey undertone that makes cold brew so satisfying.

What impressed me most was the strength and clarity of the brew. It wasn’t watered down or overly earthy—it had a boldness that woke up my taste buds without being harsh. I tried it straight and also added a splash of oat milk, and both versions were amazing. It’s definitely a coffee that can stand on its own but also plays well with others.

If you’re looking to upgrade your homemade cold brew, I’d absolutely recommend this. It’s got the kind of rich, velvety profile that tastes like something from a coffeehouse, not a kitchen counter. I’ll be using it again for sure—and maybe even experimenting with it in a expresso maker next. Total win.

Cold Brew Perfect

This coffee was tightly sealed and arrived in perfect condition. It has a nice adhesive strip on the outside of the bag too reseal it after use so it stays fresh! Upon opening the bag, the beans looked and smelled fresh! The hazelnut aroma was very sweet and strong! I brewed a cup using my single serve coffee maker and tried it out. While it tastes good, I was a little disappointed by the overall flavor. The hazelnut can definitely be smelled more than tasted. That being said, it still tastes good, the hazelnut just isn't very noticeable when drinking the coffee. The other thing I noted was after brewing, my coffee maker smelled like hazelnut for the next few brew cycles.

This coffee was just okay for me, I enjoy something of a darker roast and I felt that the flavoring was a little artificial tasting with the hazelnut flavor. After grinding the coffee it was very fresh I will say! The quality is here just not for me.

Fresh coffee!

I have bought and enjoyed this locally roasted Decaf for many years. The last two bags have had a strong chemical smell that masked the rich coffee smell and taste that I am used to. Boyer's, Please bring back the robust coffee bean so I can start buying this again. Sam's, if Boyer's cannot fix this, please source a strong (preferable water method) Decaf coffee.
