Great purchased

Got this for the wifey for Mother's Day and she absolutely loves it.  We didn't know there are so many different birds species in our area.  It identifies the bird and you can live stream the cam as well which is also added security for our property.

Great bird watching camera

I was a fan of the Birdfy project last year, using their standard feeder. This year, I decided to upgrade to the Birdfy Solar Powered Bird Feeder 2 Pro with AI Camera, and I am absolutely delighted!

The main reason for the upgrade was the improved camera and auto-navigation/auto-zoom feature, and they have completely delivered. The 2K video quality is superb, allowing me to see feather details I missed before. My kids and I love sitting down to watch the birds, and the auto-zoom makes viewing their behavior up close so much more engaging.

And of course, besides the camera, you have the comfortable and fun application. I love that I can easily store my rare type sightings or best highlights. The app provides excellent summaries and reviews of my birdwatching activity for the day, month, and year. It’s a complete package that tracks my backyard bird visits!

If you are thinking about upgrading from the standard version, I highly recommend the Pro. The high camera quality and the convenient app features make it well worth it!

Amazing Birdfeeder! Excellent 2K Zoom and App

I am impressed by the heavy duty metal frame to which the feeder is attached. Mounting with the metal frame gives me confidence in the feeders durability. The plastic feeder also seems heavy duty as it’s thicker plastic that does not seem like it will deteriorate easy. This feeder promises to last a long time. Likewise, the camera is heavy duty and durable, it’s not a low quality camera that will lose functionality over a few seasons. The dual camera capability is very cool! To capture the full perch and bird activity along with tracking the close up detail of a bird present is very cool and pleasant to see! The seed hopper or holder is a little small, I’ll likely be refilling with seed often. The solar panel has been working well and is super thin and light so finding a place to mount it was easy. I wish the perch had included a humming bird feeder attachment as well as the standard perch.
The included bird identification AI with the feeders sold at Sam’s Club is an incredible bonus!!!
This is our second Birdfy camera. We have the Birdfy Bamboo Feeder camera and have loved it. It has far exceeded our expectations. I purchased our first camera as a gift for my family member and they have enjoyed seeing the birds it captures everyday. It’s an unexpected plus to monitor activity in the area as well.
This review includes a picture taken with the older model camera! The new dual camera system is even more impressive!

Impressive Quality, Durability, %26 Capability

The Birdfy Solar Powered Bird Feeder 2 Pro with AI Camera is amazing!  It was super easy to install and set up. The feeder is durable, weatherproof, and perfect for year round use. The camera captures amazing quality videos and works great at night. The app is very easy to use and does a great job identifying birds. I would recommend this bird feeder to anyone who is looking for a fun and educational experience!

Exceptional Bird Feeder

Install and setup was quick and super easy. We already have other Birdfy products and knew the process. 
The next morning we were already getting videos and photos of birds. Where we set it up also serves and a motion camera for anyone pulling in and out of the driveway. A nice added bonus!  So far, no squirrels or other unwanted visitors have been able to get to it. 
It’s been a couple months and we’ve had no issues with the camera or the feeder itself. The cameras are crisp and clear. The AI features are cool. The AI will tell you what kind of birds are visiting your feeder. Our family is very happy with the product!

I purchased this for my husband and after setting it up yesterday we've had a blast finding out which species of birds frequent our feeders I can't recommend this enough!

We love this feeder!

This is really cool.  I bought it as a Father's Day gift and we opened it today.  I am extremely tech savvy and the reason I took off a star is that if you don't know what you are doing, this thing is so frustrating.  The biggest issue I had, was the internet.  My Eero is 5 ghz and this thing will only run on 2.5 ghz.  I had to connect it to my "guest wi-fi" which was 2.5ghz.  Only figured this out by Googling the Birdfy and Eero functions. The minute I turned it on, it needed a firmware update.  Nothing works or updates till you figure out you need the 2.5 ghz.  Then the update works. Prior to figuring all this out I would have told you that the screen is black, the app won't work, and the camera won't work.  I didn't read through all the reviews but I bet it's the 2.5 ghz issue if someone is having a problem.  The app is a little slow.  I also have a somewhat blurry camera on the small one that zooms up close.  Almost looks like I need to take a plastic cover off of it so I'll have to go check that later.  Other than that, it truly does seem really cool and takes good videos and pictures!  It also identifies the birds.  I had two House Finches and a Cowbird visit right away.  Never heard of a Brown Cowbird??

Not user friendly if you don't know what u r doing

I purchased this as a gift for my mother and it has brought so much joy to both of us, as she gets to watch the visitors to her yard and ask me what they are based on the pictures. It's a great opportunity for us to connect throughout the day to discuss who stopped by. While it might be a little difficult to set up initially for those who aren't tech-savvy, once constructed and paired with your device, it couldn't be easier to use. Birdfy's customer service is also very helpful. The solar panel is essential - never need to bring it inside to charge!

The Perfect Gift

Camera never worked. Still trying to get a response from the customer who was supposed to send me a label to return the camera before sending a replacement. Still waiting on the label…. That was weeks ago. So I have a 200 plastic bird feeder.
