I am a Finn so I have been to many saunas in Finland, electric, wood burning, smoke and I have to say I am impressed with the Lennon sauna. Assembly was easy, instructions logical, everything in the design was great and it looks beautiful. I stained it outside to add to weather proofing and to better match it with my house. Yesterday was time to test it. I was surprised how fast the sauna heated. I set it to 80C and it was plenty to give nice and crispy "löyly". I feel like a real Finn again!

I spent a lot of time shopping for a sauna when we were ready. Came across backyard discovery in my search and initially was skeptical, because there are a lot of companies that are "faceless" and once you buy the thing, you'll never get support again. I reached out and was pleasantly surprised to find people immediately available to help me, and also to find that this is a company that has been around a long time. Pulled the trigger on a REALLY well priced sauna. Showed up fast. I took my time building it, and everything went together super well. Especially happy with the included metal roof to protect the top from the elements. Heater is very nice, heats the sauna to 150 in like 15 mins right now. I oiled the entire thing on the exterior with paraffin oil, and did the benches too. We've been in it every night since I finished building it and we're very happy with the purchase, and with Backyard Discovery's service thus far.

Such a great sauna. The ability to turn on by app and fast heat up time are great features. A straightforward build - the instructions and app make it really easy to follow. It took me one full day with a friend. The wood is great quality and holds the heat really well. Highly recommend!

Amazing Sauna

I’ve been really impressed with the Lennon 2–4 Person Sauna. It feels super sturdy—the thick cedar gives it a solid, well-built feel and you can tell it’s made to last. Once it’s heated up, it holds temperature really well too.

Honestly, it also just looks great in the backyard. The clean, modern design and glass front make it feel way more high-end than I expected. It’s one of those purchases that actually looks as good as it functions.

great addition

If you read the other reviews, then you will see and hear that this a great product.  From purchasing, shipping, receiving, and instructions were great.  Building it was great, you just have to make sure you read and look at the instructions.  
There are only 3 things that I say could be better.
1) The 120v light outlet should be incorporated into the control box.  I feel this is an oversight here.
2) There should be a locking mechanism for the door and not just magnets to hold the door closed.  This is fine in low wind locations or for people that do not have little kids. I think this is an oversight as well.
3) There needs to be a pan for water collection under the heater.  When we first used it, I sat on the lower seat and found the hot water splashes on your feet.  Yes it was hot!

Great product and great support

We have had our Lennon sauna for 2 weeks now, and we have been in it almost every night!!!! My husband and I have an urban farm stay & farm experiences, and we wanted a sauna to not only help with our own health journey, but to also share with farm guests in the future. We loved the Lennon with the porch for its glass door so we could view the animals, the cedar looks and smells amazing, construction is solid! It took us about 10 hours to assemble, very clear instructions! The design is well thought out, and stunning in person. We've already had many farm guests asking about it, and commenting how nice it looks. We loved that the steel roof was included cause ours is outdoors. Has been heating up very quickly! Just overall impressed, and happy with our choice!

Farm & Sauna=Udderly Relaxing

I’ll be honest, I wanted something that felt solid—not one of those flimsy kits—and the Lennon 2–4 Person Sauna delivered. The thick cedar construction makes it feel really sturdy, like it’s built to last, not something I’ll be replacing in a couple years. Once it heats up, it holds temp well and just feels like a quality setup.

It also looks sharp. The modern, clean design and glass front give it a high-end feel without being over the top. It fits perfectly in the backyard and doesn’t look cheap at all. Overall, no regrets—solid build, great look, and does exactly what I wanted.

Good Looking

The Lennon outdoor sauna is super well-built and heats up way quicker than typical models. The cedar construction looks great, smells amazing, and holds heat really well, and the sturdy steel roof feels ready for any weather.
The Wi‑Fi control is a game changer—you can preheat it from your phone—plus the steam bucket, ladle, and dimmable lights make every session feel authentic and relaxing. Assembly is straightforward app, and the 5‑year warranty is a nice confidence boost.
Overall, it’s a premium, easy‑to‑use sauna that feels thoughtfully designed from top to bottom.

Great Vibes

I have owned this sauna for around 3 weeks and I love it. There is really only one issue that you might have of which I found in a review before I purchased it. I live in the pacific northwest so we get some rain as you can imagine and the roof design has one major flaw. The roof is built with steel that like most steel roofing has high and low points. The design has black cedar trim pieces that get attached to the front and back on the ends of the steel. Doing the build the way they direct you will not allow the water to run off and it just becomes a lake on top. I am a general contractor so I knew how to fix this and what I did is working well. First if you buy this sauna you should set it on a pad that has a lower area in the back of the sauna. This will allow the water to run off the back once you make the change I am suggesting. I left the trim off of my build and purchased some black 2” by 2” angle flashing from Home Depot. I cut the flashing into 2-5” pieces, 10-4” pieces and then one longer piece in the center. I started with the 5” pieces on the lowest area and the layered the 5 -4” pieces around the corner and finished with the long piece so every piece goes underneath the roof tin and is over the top of the piece below it. The caulk between the roof tin and the flashing. It only took about 15 minutes to do and literally doesn’t look any different.

Excellent sauna works amazingly well.

Very poorly built sauna. The heater trips every time. I have to reset it. The one bench with no back rest sits at the bottom instead of half way up. Three internet connection doesn't work. The timer button on the LCD screen is broken. If it rains, the door warps soo bad that it doesn't fully close. No matter how many times I call support, and rearrange the rocks it still trips.
