This is a very nice comcorder. Chargeable Li-ion battery. Comes with carrying case, remote, HDMI cables, digital zoom. It includes a 3-inch rotating touchscreen. Built-in Wi-Fi, and infrared light. The Vivitar 8K Ultra HD 18x Zoom Digital Camcorder Kit: designed for, casual, handheld recording, featuring 8K resolution video, 64MP still images, and 18x digital zoom. Really clear videos and so much easier to operate that my old camcorder and much lighter too. This has really been fun to play with. We are taking it on an upcoming trip and are looking forward to getting some good videos of Grandma and Grandpa!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The camera was surprisingly compact and light. The touchscreen made changing settings super easy. It also offered the feeling of using your phone. The tripod and remote gave you the luxury of being included in the moment and not stuck holding onto it. It was a refreshing flashback to yesteryear with the convenience of today.

Super lightweight but with great

Not really 8k.  It's more like a 1080p camera that saves images at 8k.  Very grainy even in the best of lighting.  Makes annoying beeping noises that you can't disable.  Interface is flaky and inconsistent.  I bought TWO of these at the exact same time and they're actually different interfaces, so product quality is pretty low as well.

If you just need a simple DVR camera, then this is for you.  It is NOT an 8k camera, though.

Not really an 8k camera

The lighting isn’t very good, especially in low-light situations, and the image quality doesn’t really look like true 8K. That said, the video isn’t bad either it’s still usable for casual recording.
Overall, it’s a good camcorder for the price, especially if you’re just looking for something basic, but don’t expect the best quality.

Its Okay

This is in no way an 8k video recorder. The video is grainy no matter the settings and if you zoom in on something like a sign or an  envelope, the words are not clear but blurry. I can’t say that I would recommend this. Spend the money on an external storage drive and save your phone videos on it. You will be much happier.
