Select Surfaces Harlow Molding Kit is designed to complement Select Surfaces® laminate flooring - Harlow (990321327 and 990321479). Each kit contains four moldings, each 44 inches in length. These moldings are easy to install and will add the finishing touch to your new floor! T-Molding The main function of a T-molding for laminate flooring is to provide a seamless transition between two types of flooring or floor surfaces of the same height, while also protecting the edges of the laminate flooring. It helps to bridge the gap between the two floors, providing a smooth and safe transition that reduces the risk of tripping or stumbling. Reducer Molding The main function of a reducer molding for laminate flooring is to ensure the transition from the laminate flooring to a lower surface. They reduce the height difference between the two floors or floor surfaces, providing a safety for foot traffic. This can be especially important in areas where the height difference is significant or where the transition is frequently crossed, as it helps to prevent tripping hazards and ensures a more comfortable and seamless experience for those walking across the transition. Common examples are the transition between laminate flooring and vinyl flooring. You get several different kinds of floor moldings in a package and considering you get a two pack you get plenty to do everything! These are actually very nice and they are an excellent buy when you consider how much it cost to buy one transition board at the big box stores. I would definitely recommend.

Installation is easy peasy, and the outcome looks like you've spent thousands of dollars in renovations. Would definitely recommend if you're in the mood to spruce up your house.

Sprucin' Up The House

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This kit comes with t moldings, reducer, endcap piece for stairs transition, clips, screws and anchors. It is everything you need for floor moldings (other than round molding). I had to replace some moldings around my house as they are chipped and worn in the high traffic area. It was very easy to replace and install. The pattern is random and realistic.

Great Molding Kit

Realized new mounting system needed to be used…..a molded “u” plastic seemed better to work with versus the older metal u channel! In addition the molding male underside was strengthen allowing much easier interface and adjustment to fit length! Very happy with end result!!

Similar to other moldings from box stores it cuts easily and installation with the included parts (other than nails). Definitely need multiple kits for the perimeter of the room since it covers only a small part.

Kit with everything needed to setup

We didnt get many of these to really see how it looks in a full room, but if you like the oak look, i think you will be satisfied with what this has to offer

The color is lovely!!

Also very short. I have only ever had real wood molding. And it is much taller then these. The color looked great. But this was almost plastic.

You know it’s fake plastic cheap stuff from 200 feet away, you catch even a glimpse of it and you’ll feel insulted and ashamed. I’d pass and never talk about it again.
