QuickStep by Mohawk Longview Chestnut waterproof, laminate wood flooring is a beautifully crafted rustic chestnut décor. With it's warm amber color tones and enhanced wood grain texture, this flooring provides the perfect look for any style. Each plank features a milled bevel edge for a seamless look from plank to plank. Manufactured with a patented joint locking system for watertight joint protection, planks click into place for an easy DIY installation. Once planks are installed, the surface is immediately ready for furntiure and foot traffic. With superior surface protection, planks are scratch, stain and dent resistant. Each plank is 10mm total thickness which includes an 8mm thick plank plus a 2mm attached underlayment. With underlayment already attached, installation is that much easier. This waterproof flooring with superior surface protection makes QuickStep by Mohawk flooring ideal for any family. Coordinating moldings are available to complete your installation (Items 990451280, 990399971 and 990351923). The laminate 4-in-1 molding can be used for four different applications: as a t-molding to join two surfaces of the same height, as a carpet transition to finish your flooring where it meets a soft surface, as a reducer to join hard surfaces of differing heights, and as an end molding to finish your floor where it meets vertical surfaces like sliding glass doors or fireplace hearths.

Good-Looking, Mid-price Waterproof Laminate
I recently installed the Longview Chestnut planks from QuickStep by Mohawk, and overall I’m impressed. The laminate gives a warm, authentic mid-brown chestnut tone that works nicely in both daylight and evening light — it isn’t shiny or plastic-looking, and the grain pattern has just enough variation to feel natural without being too busy. One of the biggest selling points is the waterproof claim. As someone with pets and occasional spills, I appreciated that this flooring handles moisture better than many ordinary laminates. While it’s not impervious to neglect (you still can’t leave standing water for long periods), it survived a few accidents without swelling or damage along the seams. Installation was fairly straightforward thanks to the click-together system. The 17.18 sq. ft. per box coverage was good for planning, and I didn’t end up needing massive overage. That said, I did find that getting a tight seam in some corners required patience and a rubber mallet. Also, underfoot it has a slightly hollow feel compared to engineered hardwood — so expect a bit more echo in large, empty rooms unless you use a good underlayment or rugs. In terms of durability, after several weeks of daily traffic (kids, pets, moving furniture) the surface holds up well: minor scuffs buff out, and the color hasn’t notably faded. Maintenance is easy — regular sweeping and damp mopping suffice.
Very Durable
Flooring was easy to lay and connect as we were going through the project to put this down. Edges didn't chip when cutting pieces to size. Took a small piece that wasn't going to be used and tried scratching it with keys and other objects. Took quite a bit of effort to put a noticeable mark on it.
New kitchen floor!
We got our Mohawk flooring to update our kitchen floor. The flooring is very easy to work with. Cuts take minimal effort. As soon as you start the first row you’re cruising. After install the floor seems very well made and built to last. Hardest part for me was removing the appliances prior to install! My wife love it, most importantly.
