Pirelli P4 A/S Plus Persist - 215/55R17 94V Tire

These tires, which were recommended by Sam's Club staff, have made a big difference in the ride if my car. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful on making my decision. The installation process was fast and done while I was shopping.

I replaced the original aging Michelins, in anticipation of an upcoming trip, with Pirellis. I have been very happy with the tires once I straightened out the pressure in the tires. My car takes 32 psi in the front, 30 psi in the rear. I did not check the document to see what fill had been used. Never had to before, all Sam's tire purchases before had been filled accurately to the car's specs. A couple of weeks after the install, we had a few warm days, and suddenly, the check tire pressure light came on. I was only a couple of blocks from home so I went there and checked the tire pressure: one front tire was 40 psi, one was 38. One rear tire was 39 the other 38. Left the car there overnight and checked again the next morning and the pressure had only dropped by one unit. So my tires had been very overinflated in the install. I checked the paperwork from Sam's - they showed a 35 psi fill on each tire, apparently no one checked what fill should be used. To say the least, I was very disappointed by the poor quality work that resulted in a safety issue. I was lucky I found the problem before my trip and will know to double check work done on my car at Sam's Club.
