Growing up in the Deep South, I thought all persimmons were bitter, because that was what I had tried to eat. These persimmons are so juicy, sweet and delicious!! You can peel them if you want to, but the peel is eatable and good. The riper (softer) they are the juicier they are as well. I prefer mine to be a little firmer, but either way you will never miss a season again. They are scrumptious!

The Sweet and Delicious Persimmon

These persimmons were superb.  I absolutely loved them.  The problem is when I returned to buy more there were none.  I do not know why Sam’s and other big box stores do that!  They used to carry a large jar of artichoke hearts but not anymore.

I love fruit and I watch for these persimmons to come in season. I call them Apple Persimmons because they are ripe and delicious when they are still firm.

Test so sweet and delicious, hope it stay firmer little longer, vert sweet when it gets soft but I prefer firmer persimmon
