I really liked these shorts. The material was lightweight and were very easy to move around in. I was very happy with the length of the shorts as well. It’s hard finding shorts that are not too short. They seem like they will hold up well in the wash. Looking forward to the summer so I can wear them.

Just right!

What a beautifully crafted short pant!!! The quality is absolutely superb. Kept me cool and dry. Highly recommended. The fit is true to size. I’m wearing a medium but I’m usually a small. The color was gorgeous also. I would buy more in different colors.

Gorgeous

These shorts are great! The material is lightweight and very comfortable. The only thing that I wasn’t a fan of is that there are no back pockets. I do really like that the leg holes are larger than others, which is nice for my larger thighs. Overall I would definitely recommend!

Lightweight, comfortable shorts

Love the color of these shorts—they look even better in person. The material is a bit thicker than I usually prefer, but that actually makes them perfect for outdoor activities where you want something more durable. The length is just right, not too short or too long, and they hold up really well after washing with no shrinking or fading. Overall, a great quality pair of shorts I’d definitely wear again.

Outdoors I’m ready for you!

The Outdoor Voices Ladies Shorts are very comfortable and stretchy! I have them in the petunia color and they are a nice clear,  bright color. The fabric is medium weight, somewhere between athletic wear and denim. The waistband is very stretch and about 2” wide so they stay in place. Drawstring lets you adjust the size to your comfort. The pockets are zippered to keep your keys and essential safe and they are deep enough to fit an my iPhone. I’ve washed them a few times and they keep their shape nicely, but I found if I take them out if the dryer early and hang dry they don’t wrinkle. Personally I would prefer the 5” inseam to these at 3 1/2” just because the leg opening is generous and there is no liner. Nice shorts!

Outdoor Voices Ladies Shorts

I really like the length of these shorts—it’s just right. However, the fabric isn’t my favorite. It’s quite thick and a bit stiff, which makes it hard to describe but not very comfortable for me personally. Because of the heavier material, I don’t find them very flattering. Since it’s winter, I haven’t had the chance to wear them in warmer weather or see how they perform or dry when wet. Overall, they may work for some, but I wouldn’t purchase more shorts in this fabric.

Look at in person before buying

These shorts are very lightweight, perfect for outdoor activities such as hiking, walking etcera. The shorts lenght are mid thigh, I am 5'3 and fit right at mid thigh. They do not ride up when walking.

Good quality & perfect lenght

These active wear shorts have a stiffer feel than I'm used to and that kind of hard fabric has a crinkle sound that you'll notice occasionally while walking. They have a very 'rugged' feel, but that's not what I look for when I'm looking for jogging/hiking shorts. I have not washed these yet, so that could potentially soften them a bit. I ordered a medium, and the waist area fits fine, but the leg holes have a ton of extra room so that when I sit with my knees slightly bent, you can see right up my shorts. If I were to try these again, I'd buy a small just to see the leg size difference. I'm 5'4", about 130lbs, waist size 26", 40" hip, and midway thigh measures 20". 
They aren't terrible, the zip pockets are nice and I do feel like they will hold up over time, but they will be my back up pair that I'll use if my other shorts are in the wash.

Not for me

These shorts are okay. They are a very strange material pretty hard to describe. They are thick and very structured. I expected a more flowy windbreaker type material. The zipper pockets on the front are nice, they are deep and very useful. However I’d prefer there was also a pocket on the back. In a pinch they are okay shorts for the price point.

Okay for the price

These are not a favorite at all. They are very scratchy even after a few washes. The scratch your legs and waist. They make you sweat and just strangely uncomfortable. The only plus side is these do have pockets so that helps a bit.
