A healthy addition to any meal, Baby Bella mushrooms look similar in size and shape to white mushrooms but they’re hardier and provide a deeper earthy taste.

Baby Bellas, Figs, Honey and Brie

Do you need an easy recipe idea this fall? This one is a huge crowd pleaser and looks absolutely stunning. The creamy sweet and savory combination keeps you coming back for more.

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz. Sliced Baby Bella Mushrooms
  • 1 Wheel of Brie Cheese
  • 2 Fresh Figs (in season from late June through early fall)
  • 1/2 Cup Honey

Instructions:

Simply sauté mushrooms in extra virgin olive oil, thyme with a pinch of salt. Then top a brie wheel with mushrooms and warm slightly in the oven, 10 minutes at 350°F should do the trick. Top that warm melted mushroom/brie wheel with some halved figs and drizzle with local organic honey. Serve with crackers of your choice.
