Although there are no ducks being sanitized on the front of the bottle, this soap is sure to give Dawn vibes. Every bit as effective as Dawn, Cascade, etc., in my opinion, at a significant price point savings.  

There are few secrets in the dish washing detergent business. Almost all common dish soaps whether big brand name or private label, such as MM Liquid Dish Soap, are pretty much the same in chemical composition with only minor variations usually in the lesser ingredients to keep them from becoming exactly identical.  

For a glimpse into what goes into such a formulation, check out https://dawn-dish.com/en-us/how-to/what-dawn-is-made-of-ingredients/  Though you may not understand all of the chemistry (which if you are truly interested, you can look up), you will see that the formulation is actually quite complex, with each ingredient being present as no more nor no less than is needed for its function.

P&G introduced Dawn in 1973, for example, and though it might have had minor tweaks in the intervening 52 years (as of this writing), this is old, well-traveled technology.

Anecdotally, I find Member's Mark Liquid Dish Soap to be as effective as any other.  Since all liquid detergents in this class are very powerful cleaning agents, I generally keep about a diluted squeeze bottle by the kitchen sink, to avoid overuse and waste  (20-30 water:1 MM Liquid Dish Soap).  I add a squirt of this diluted soap to a pot, vessel, utensil, etd. or a container full of dirty dishes.  It works very well this way.

Here's the way to tell when more diluted detergent is needed.  No suds?  A bit more diluted detergent, then.

As good as Dawn, IMHO.

We still wash dishes by hand around here. Just fill up the double sink and a few drops then go to work. Hey, I spend sometime talking to God about everything.

This is my favorite dish soap. Reasonable price and it cleans the gunk off my Dawn bottle. The day I found this beautiful blue soap fulfilled a spot on my bucket list. The best day of my life.
