Member's Mark Painted Porch Rocker

I have had this (red) rocker for a little over a few months now and I have put it to good use. It was very easy to assemble, the color is high gloss and smooth to touch. It is comfortable to sit in, except, the rocking motion itself, is a bit off. I don't really know how to describe it so that it makes sense, but I will try. The rocking motion instead of a smooth glide from back to front etc. has kind of a flat spot in the middle. I checked the Rockers themselves and nothing seems to be wrong in the curve so then I thought it might be because of using it on a wooden deck surface, no not that. So, I took it inside on vinyl flooring and it felt the same, however, on carpet it was better. It could just be my rocker, so don't let this put you off from purchasing it. I put a thick cushion in the seat, and one for the backrest and it feels better. I have found once I am sitting and rocking for a bit, I do not notice it as much now. It is a beautiful looking Rocker and stands out among the rest of my chairs. I have a Sam's Club Gazebo on my deck, so the chair is under cover. I bring this up because the manufacture does instruct to keep it out of the rain and suggest bringing it inside, so you will want to take that into consideration when deciding to purchase. Other than those few things the Rocker is worth the asking price, of good quality, packaged extremely well and arrived in an expedient manner. I would recommend this Rocker to enjoy so Rock on!

Just bought a little farm house with a wrap around porch in Ky. I think its law you have to have rocking chairs on a porch out in the country. Took me about 15 minutes to put together and I'm 60 and broken. They are just lovely. Would highly recommend.
