Easy Cleaning and Maintenance

All Sunbrella® fabrics are engineered to combine the highest level of design and performance. To maintain your Sunbrella fabric, simply brush off loose dirt and prepare a solution of one fourth cup mild soap per gallon of lukewarm water. Spray the cleaning solution onto the fabric and use a soft bristle brush to clean. Allow the solution to soak into the fabric, then rinse thoroughly until all soap residue is removed. Finally, let the fabric air dry.

Mildew Removal

While Sunbrella fabrics do not promote mildew growth, mildew may grow on dirt and other foreign substances if not removed from the fabric. To remove mildew, prepare a solution of 1 cup of bleach and one fourth cup mild soap per gallon of water. Spray the solution on the entire area and allow it to soak into the fabric for 15 minutes. Clean the entire surface area with a sponge, clean towel, or very soft bristle brush. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue and let the fabric air dry. It is recommended to clean the entire surface area of the fabric to avoid water rings and stains.

Helpful Hints for Care

Avoid scrubbing, hard bristle brushes, or any other abrasive cleaning methods when caring for your Sunbrella fabric. The fabric should only be allowed to air dry. When using bleach or other chemical solvents, protect the area around your Sunbrella fabric to prevent discoloration of non-Sunbrella fabrics. Always rinse Sunbrella thoroughly to ensure optimal cleanliness and longevity.
