Crafted from quality ingredients, Member's Mark Cream Cheese Brick, 48 oz. has a clean, tangy flavor and firm texture. It doesn't contain any preservatives and is free of rBST. It can be used for a variety of food applications and comes in a convenient three-pound block for easy storage in the refrigerator. This cheese is ideal to have on hand in homes, as well as in foodservice operations. Use it to make dips, cheesecake, sandwiches, pinwheels, mashed potatoes and more. If you don't need all three pounds of cream cheese at once, freeze any extra to help extend its shelf life.

Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe

  • 1 cup of artichoke (diced small, well drained)
  • 1 cup of fresh spinach (diced small)
  • 8 ounces of Member’s Mark cream cheese (enjoy the pre-marked 8-ounce markers on the 3 lb. cream cheese)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup of Panko bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp of black pepper
  • 8 ounces of shredded parmesan
  • 8 ounces of shredded cheddar
  • 1 tsp of garlic
  • ½ tsp of dry parsley

Use a food mixer/processor and add cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar, parmesan cheese, garlic, pepper—mix until smooth. Add the artichoke and spinach—mix until all the ingredients are incorporated. Spread evenly into an 8" x 8" oven-safe pan and top with Panko bread crumbs and dry parsley. Bake at 375°F for 20-22 minutes or until the top is brown and bubbly.

Serve with pita bread, crackers, tortilla chips and your favorite vegetables.

Cream Cheese Extraordinaire!

I wasn’t aware that cream cheese came in the large type of container I purchased from Sam’s. I was also skeptical of how it would taste. However, even though it is a large quantity to have, I find because it is so good that I’m using it, and inventing new ways to use it, all the time. It’s a good purchase.

Where is "THE REST OF THE CREAM CHEESE"?

Love the block of cream cheese. Per ounce it is way cheaper. I take it home, weigh them out to 8 oz servings (stored in packages with my sealer w/the date I divided them), & store them in the fridge. The only complaint I have is I have been short anywhere from half to a full ounce on my last 8 oz package from each block. I zero out my kitchen scale with the sheet of wax paper I lay the cream cheese on the scale with. It is zero, but just to make sure I do zero it out. And that is how I know I have been short that amount.

Creamy and spreadable like famous bagel shops!

I got to try this on 3-25-23 at the Athens, GA Sam’s and decided to buy it. It’s a 100% perfect match for the Philly brand cream cheese used on bagels by the famous Goldberg’s Deli in Atlanta, GA. Goldberg’s gets 30 lb big blocks of cream cheese and this Sam’s version is like a smaller more manageable version for home use. Sam’s was spreading it out easily and it was creamy and fluffy. This members mark version is a 3 pound block for $8.56 and the Philadelphia version next to it is 4, 8 ounce blocks (32 ounce/2 pounds) for $8.16, so for 40 cents more you get a extra pound. I’ve gone through the reviews on here and there are many impassioned, urgent warnings to not buy the members mark cream cheese under any circumstances. Why all the amped up passion over a $8 item? For spreading out on bagels it’s incredible!! No idea how it melts or what it’s like in a cheesecake. If you are a crybaby id probably say don’t buy it, but look out for them sampling it. Anytime I see amped up really negative reviews over items less than $10 it raises a red flag as a competitor hit piece. Because it’s so creamy and fluffy I can’t wait to mix it in with fresh chives.
