Exactly what I wanted!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Updated our worn out wooden post by cutting the top off, sliding this one right over the post. Pre drilled holes make it easy to screw it down. Light enough to handle independently. Sturdy enough to withstand weather. Sleek black, clean finish. Used 4 months and have no issues! Planted adds a nice touch, drain holes for the green thumbs, I'm using faux myself! Purchased an extra large mailbox from here too! Looks like it was made together.

STURDY AND ELEGANT

Instructions were very good. The product was well built. The hardest part of the job was removing the old mailbox and installing the pressure treated 4X4, I did have to guess how high to put the flower box. Instructions also said: "Medium mailbox recommended." Everywhere I went, they only had standard and large. The large that I bought was under the recommended weight limit. I am very happy with it. Even though it seemed to be a little pricey.
