I was waiting for the netRTK iNavi service availability before purchasing a robot mower and it performs exactly how I hoped! No need, in my location, to use a local RTK setup. I have Wifi coverage across my lawn area, but some areas are weak and the mower had a confused issue mapping an area perimeter. Changed app to use 4G netRTK and didn't see any further issues. Maybe it was a glitch and not the wifi coverage, but since it has worked well and have not tried to switch back to wifi. My lawn is only 9500 sq ft so this mower can do it in a few hours at max speed. I have plenty of hills and ruts and this mower kept working and did not require any manual intervention. The hardest part for me was controlling the robot manually like a remote control car, using your phone with the mammotion app, to map out the perimeter of the lawn. There is also an automatic perimeter mapping mode if the boundaries are obvious, but that didn't work on my property. No go zones work well,  but the mower also does a good job of avoiding objects it can see. I'm impressed with the mowers ability to navigate and cut the lawn with no buried wires or local RTK station. Resulting lawn stripes are straighter than I have ever done manually.

Mammotion Technology

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, so good.  I upgraded from another manufacturer to the Luba 3000HX.  Unlike its replacement, the Luba can traverse the tree roots and sloping grade to my yard easily with its AWD design.  This was a major headache with my old robotic mower because I spent more time babysitting it and getting it unstuck than it would have taken to just mow my lawn the old-fashioned way.  Thanks Luba for a great product mowing my lawn with accuracy and convenience!

AWD design is great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been a great purchase, but there is still room for improvement. I don’t get notifications if the lawnmower is stuck and the battery just dies. When you are patient with it and keep an eye on it, it can go a good job. It struggles with edges of the yard, but we are overall still glad we bought it so it saves us time in the yard.

Time Saver

Cut lawn beautifully but ran over its own cord. I didn’t program it to go into this path. I secured the cord per the manufacturer instructions.  I cared for it and raised it from being a little lawn mower to the mower it is today. I have heard about be robots revolting against their pavers, but I never thought it would starter with martyrdom. I guess freedom has to start somewhere.

Freedom at any cost

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I own the LUBA 2 AWD 3000X mower and use it to keep our nearly half-acre lawn trimmed day-to-day. Overall it does a great job, and it's quite good at tackling even steep hills. Initial installation and setup is easy and straightforward, and the included instructions are very easy to follow. I also appreciate the fact that the dock and the RTK antenna can be installed in separate locations to ensure good coverage and navigation.

It might take a few iterations to get your map set up just right though - and it's important to configure it so it mows in the correct direction when handling steeper slopes, otherwise the mower may slip down hill a bit. Also, the mower has a habit of falling off a curb if the map allows it to get too close - it's important to be very slow and careful when creating the map so that the wheels are a few inches away from the curb, but not so far that you have a patch of long grass right at the curb. Manual trimming may be mandatory either way.

Overall though, I'm really happy with the mower, and glad I purchased it!

Great mower overall, setup is a bit involved

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this and have used it a few times, it is easy to program and set-up.  The cut is good but misses random spots in the yard.  Each time I used it, it got stuck in different places in the yard.  Doesn't do well near trees if roots are slightly exposed.  It does well climbing hills, but struggles with going sideways along the hill slope

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the Luba 2 AWD for 3 months of mowing. It does a good job mowing a lawn that is rather "basic". Bottom line: I don't know if any other brand would do better, so I'm sticking with this one. It gets the job done. My lawn has a couple mulch areas where I set up a no-go zone and I have a corner house with semi-steep drainage ditches on both sides. In this review I will only point out where the Luba needs improvement in no particular order.
1) Time estimate: If you add  "no go zones" it doubles or triples the number of turns it has to make. The time estimate does not account for this and are way off due to loosing about 20 seconds per turn. This added more than an hour over the estimate on my lawn.
2) The weight distribution is heavily on the back where the battery resides. So, when turning, the front wheels have NO traction. they might as well be swivel wheels. This becomes a major issue when turning while on an incline (my drainage ditch).
3) It is unable to make smooth turns. The software will not turn while driving forward. It stops forward movement, turns, then begins forward movement. It wastes lots of time when making any form of arc around the lawn. The software DESPERATELY NEEDS to be able to smoothen turns.
4) Never have it turn on a decent slope (drainage ditch). The back tires will tear up the ground since the front wheels have no grip to assist in the turn (especially if it is moist). I live in Virginia, USA. We have high humidity, so the ground is frequently wet with dew. But it cuts the grass just fine when there is a little dew. Lord help you if it determines it can't make the u-turn due to slipping. Add 2-2 minutes for it to figure things out. Its own weight becomes the problem in this case. The Luba mini made the u-turns just fine, but not enough battery to finish my lawn, so I upgraded to the Luba 2.
5) I got this mower because of the 4 wheel drive. I don't think it helps, but I never tried another brand.
6) Read the Facebook page to see where there are many areas for software improvement that are simply ignored or de-prioritized. But don't worry, they have a setting to make a fancy design in your yard, because THAT is important.
7) If it ever gets out of bounds (due to slipping), you can't fix it remotely. You have to physically move it in order to get it to work again. Lots of people complain about this.
8) Don't try to get right up to a no-go zone boundary. I have stones around mulch areas. If I try to get too close when defining the boundary, it might snag a stone and have problems when mowing. So, I defined the boundary about 3 inches away and I manually use an edger to get the edge.
9) You must be smart when defining the map of your yard.  Some areas may be best to mow in one direction while other areas are best to mow in another. It can really save time by reducing the turns.
10) Due to the slipping in the drainage area, I had to break my yard up into 1 main part and a separate part on the other side of the ditch. This way, it won't try to drive through the ditch or try to make turns on its slope. I have to manually mow the ditch. Since it is normally rather wet in that spot, I think it best to avoid it with any robotic mower.

Works, but lots of room for improvement

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the Luba 2 a couple weeks ago after seeing it work successfully at two of my neighbor’s houses. I love the concept and the lawn looks great when it mows (if you keep up with it). I do seem to have issues getting the machine to wake up from a deep sleep via the app without manually going outside and pushing the power button.  The biggest challenge is finding a good location to mount the RTK antenna and the charging station so that BOTH have direct line of site access to the SAME satellites. The Luba and charging station need to be in the wide open, away from the house and deck. This makes it a challenge with having access to an AC outlet and not having an awkward lawn ornament in the middle of your yard. I’m still working on finding a reliable location to keep the Luba and charger with robust connectivity.

Great if you have good satellite visibility
