I bought this after my divorce and my ex took everything including the appliances. I have 2 kids and needed something they called "uber dryer". I love the extra capacity size perfect for larger items like comforters and blankets, there is a feature to keep clothes wrinkle free after drying is comple, and a steam feature that works great for freshening up clothes or for dry cleaning only.
Its amazing and energy efficient. I am so happy that i found the perfect unit for my family, can't say enough about this unit, if you have the room it is a great investment and the price was reasonable for all its amenities.

We got the set on December 29th, 2022 and with a little learning curve on how to control the wrinkles, we're loving the job this pair does. We hada tech out forour fridge and as he was leaving, saw the washer and dryer and gave us lots of really useful tips on detergent, softner and most efficient way to dry our clothes.

We were nervous about all the different options but quickly got over it. When we make washes there is still plenty of room to add things. Our old washer and dryer were so much smaller. What a find. Also the clothes seem to come out so much better. We couldn’t be more pleased. We hope the LG pair are with us for a very long time.

things are Location, Location, and Location.. For me, in a dryer it is Size, Size, and Size!  And at 9 cubic feet, this one has it.    I have a king size bed and I was tired of wadding up my blankets, bedspreads, quilts, and even my sheets and stuffing them in the dryer, stopping it every few minutes to take them out and turn them and stuff them back in so a different section could dry and finally taking they out and laying them over some furniture to finish drying.  Yes they still wad up some on their own and maybe once in a cycle I have to stop and untangle it but nothing like before and in the end, they are actually dry.  Regular clothes are easy and delicates are simple.  It is a dryer and it dries my laundry - all of it!

I am disappointed with the dryer. While it does an excellent job drying, there are several factors that bother me. Several things explained in the manual do not happen as advertised. Also the finish seems to be easily scratched. The installation was also done very poorly resulting in a second wasted day waiting for another crew to come out to fix the original installation problems.

I bought this dryer a few weeks ago. It is performing well so far. I am giving this dryer a 3 because i am very disappointed with the fact it does not have a drying rack. This washer cost a lot of money to not come with one. I am considering returning it for this reason. Shame on LG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the steamer function! The capacity is huge, the machines barely fit in the laundry room. Installer had to remove the door. The Wi-Fi refuses to connect, even though the washer connected after a few tries.

Despite Wi-Fi trouble, dryer is great

I'm very disappointed with the quality of my LG dryer, especially the lint filter and screen. Within just a couple of years of normal use, the lint filter became damaged and the screen started tearing and warping. This is unacceptable for a major appliance.

Because of this defect, lint is no longer properly trapped, and it has started affecting my laundry. Several of my clothes have been damaged—some fabrics have snagged, worn out faster, or even developed small tears. This has been extremely frustrating and costly.

I've taken proper care of the dryer, including cleaning the lint filter after every load, so this is clearly a durability issue and not misuse. A component as critical as the lint filter should last much longer and should not put clothing at risk.

I expected better quality and reliability from LG. I strongly recommend improving the durability of the lint filter design and addressing this issue for customers who have experienced similar problems.
