I looked it up and the dryer was telling me the exhaust vent was blocked!  We cleaned out the vent and no more error message.  It works like a dream, quiet and efficient. So quiet. I also appreciate two new features. It detects when clothes are dry, so if the clothes dry before the time set, it stops. The second feature is, that at the end of the cycle, it plays a pleasant little music instead of annoying buzzer noise. Most of all, I have learned LG washers and dryers are top quality.

The first issue was an installation issue regarding the plug. The second electrical issue related to the fact that the dryer kept tripping the circuit breaker. We resolved this by having an electrician replace the circuit breakers. This dryer is extremely efficient but requires more amperage. It was an extremely frustrating experience but was not the fault of the dryer. I love the features and the fact that clothes dry quickly. I would advise purchasers to check with an electrician if they experience similar problems.

We Are on the Right Track-Finally

Got this dryer as a replacement for one that came in the house when we bought it. There are SO Many features-something for every need & situation. We’ve only really used the normal programmed settings, but you can tailor & customize to your hearts content. It’s only been a month, but so far happy with our choice.

More features than you’ll ever need

No complaints after 10 months.

I do have some concerns for the longevity of some of the plastic parts. The door latch and tray pull-out seem a bit finicky where I can see them easily failing at some point. Also a bit of a bummer I can not flip the door swing.

Working Well

So far the dryer is great. Quiet and efficient. The humidity sensor on delicate leaves the clothes damp sometimes but it’s a fast cycle. Only other complaint is the power cable was too short when stacked and pulled out of our closet to install without an extension cord.
