I will forever use this hominy to make pozole, is always good and authentic. I really recommend this brand.

This was a real good deal price wise for this product? I just input couple cans extra by mistake but have use for all the ones I got?? Thanks for the price also a family member was surprised to see that I hit a deal?

A great, great value for the money but you should look at the amount of each can and then the price. I’m sure there should be an adjustment on the part of Walmart. I received three cans each 110 ounces for 11.97.

Mexican hominy.

I’m from Texas but have a pasole recipe passed down through generations of a Navajo family in Albuquerque. I stock up on Juanita’s from Sam’s because all of the other brands are subpar.

The Only. Canned Hominy Worthy of Pasole

Large can sells for a sizable discount.  Froze about half  in 2 cup glass containers, while eating the other half over a 5 day period.  Thawing and heating the frozen content tasted as good as the first half. Had forgotten how much I really enjoyed Hominy, especially with a little butter and salt.

A favorite of the group . Simmer a few minutes; drain, add grated coconut and sugar and you have tasty dessert.

I only bought this product for the can. I emptied the can and made floral vases for a Fiesta-themed birthday party.

It needs to be flavored to taste by adding more chile, garlic or onions and boil.  The meat is cut too big and looks sloppy.
