This was a costly purchase, but worth it!
The machine is easy to use and the spherical ice is the best.
The only upgrade I made was to put it on a low turntable/Lazy Susan (that I constructed!) to enable the ease of turning it around to drain the unused water from the back.
Luckily, my turntable was low enough that the machine still fit (barely) under the kitchen cabinet.

I got this as a gift for my dad and he loves it. It is a little noisy, but not intolerably so. It might startle you when it "drops it's balls" as he says, because it makes a pretty abrupt drop sound but it works great, makes spherical ice as expected, and is pretty easy to operate.

It Makes Balls

Great Ice Maker, compact size is perfect for our small kitchen. We have assembled bags of the spheres for larger parties or gatherings, it is a small unit and produces ice very quickly, it just can’t hold enough ice during parties or large family meals to keep up but the spheres are slower to melt than cubed or smaller ice and briefly placing the spheres in water before  placing them in a beverage makes them clear and beautiful. The machine does make a small amount of noise when dropping the frozen spheres into the holding container, but it isn’t loud or intrusive, just the sound of something hard dropping on plastic. We use bottled water to help prevent mineral and chemical buildup in the machine. It is self cleaning and looks SO nice in our kitchen. If you leave the spheres in the holding bin  they do melt but the water drains back into the machine to make more cubes so it’s efficient that way too! Highly recommend if you want a great Artisan Ice Maker at a great price!

Amazing Ice Maker for all kinds of drinks!

This is a fun, easy-to-use way to make ice cubes for fancy drinks. They are a bit smaller than the typical spherical ice cubes and you do have to use them within a reasonable amount of time or move to the freezer, but no more worry about the struggle of dealing with the spherical molds and they’re easy to pop out quickly.

I LOVE MY NEW ICE MAKER. VERY FAST AND THE ICE IS DELICIOUS. MY AUNT GOT IT FOR ME FOR MY BIRTHDAY AND MY KIDS AND I LOVE TO EAT IT! BEST ICE MACHINE EVER AND I CAN TALK TO IT AND IT WILL MAKE ICE FOR ME!!!!  I CAN CHANGE THE SIZE AND EVERYTHING. ICE WILL BE MADE WHEN I COME HOME FOR WORK TO MAKE MY COCKTAIL.

BEST ICE MAKER BY FAR

I don't have an ice maker and trays are too inconvenient. Enter this beast of an icemaker. it makes awesome round iceballs which look great and impress. The machine has a good capacity for a small family and is not loud at all. fits perfect on a countertop. a must have for summer gatherings.

This ice maker has a generous shape and excellent ice-making effect. It is very good for those of us who like family gatherings! It can make ice cubes needed by multiple people in a short time. Unlike a refrigerator, it is not enough for two or three people.

I had a party over the weekend and this was great to have on a hot summer night. It was a great addition to have in addition to the ice in the freezer. It makes big balls which is good when drinking. With having four kids this is also great to have in the summer because we go through so much ice and the balls even fit in my kids water bottles. It’s quiet and fits perfectly next to the fridge. A great thing is it comes with tongs that never lose a grip when picking up the ice?. The machine is cute. You do have to fill up the bottle tray with water but the light tells you when it’s out. There are also lights to tell you when the basket is full. A great addition!

Ice maker

The unit makes ice as described; however, the effort of perserving the ice is not worth the money spent for the unit. The spheres will melt if not stored soon after being made. My opinion is that the more economical and fastest way of making whisky spheres will be to use multiple ice molds.

Think before Buying

Have been using this ice machine since 5/16/25.  Yesterday, 12/10/25, it just quit working.  It's just making noise.  My husband made sure it had water, cleaned it and checked to make sure that no hoses were clogged, then unplugged it and plugged it back in, but still nothing.  Will be checking into warranty.
