About this item

Product details

Use the battery finder for help selecting the battery you need

Whether you need a battery for a personnel carrier, aerial lift, electric vehicle, golf car, boat, RV, floor scrubber, road sign, or any other application that requires deep-cycle power, this is the battery of choice. The biggest innovations lie inside the battery where we use heavier grids, plates with higher density oxide and improved glass mat envelope separators.

This results in longer life cycles and superior cycle life performance. Engineers have designed this battery to be durable and user-friendly. The heavy gauge polypropylene cases have been specially built to take a pounding without damaging the cells. Twist-and-release vent caps make removing caps a snap and the new lifting system maximizes convenience.

To have your battery installed, please call your local Tire & Battery Center to schedule an appointment.

Replaced Trojan t-105's

I replaced a pair of 4 year old Trojan standard T-105's with a pair of these batteries, about 18 months ago. These are re-labled DEKA GC-15 batteries made by East Penn. They are a couple of pounds heavier than the T-105 but the performance has been comparable in a small solar application. I do watch the water levels closely, and have a 3 stage charger to top them up monthly and never go below 50% capacity. Cons: Warranty ends at 12 months, with no proration to 24 like Trojan. Can't use the Trojan HydroLink watering system. In my application these are just as good as the T-105 Trojan.

6 V Golf Cart batteries EGC2

I used 4 EGC2 six volt batteries from Sam’s Club as house bank on my sailboat. Never a problem. The charging was done by Solar panels, shore power and alternator. I am doing a preventive replacement now, after 5 years of product use as a live aboard. I replace the EGC2 with four 6V AGM GC2, also from Sam’s Club. The 5 year old batteries are all still working!
