More cars are moving to a higher performance battery such as the AGM battery. The Duracell® AGM Automotive Battery is made to handle extreme weather like no ordinary battery can. Use it in SUVs, LTVs, APVs or any car that requires an AGM battery. What Is an AGM Battery? Absorbed glass mat, or AGM, battery design allows the electrolyte to wick between the battery plates. There is only enough electrolyte liquid in the battery to keep the glass mat moist. If for some reason the battery cracks, there is not enough liquid to leak out of the casing. Can You Recharge Duracell AGM Automotive Battery? The Duracell battery is a fully rechargeable battery. Before recharging, pay attention to the charger type you need to use. Different battery sizes require different chargers. Never leave the battery connected to the vehicle when charging. It is best to remove the AGM battery entirely from the car before joining to the charger. Charge time varies per charger so check the manufacturer's instructions. You do not want to overcharge the battery. Only charge in a well-ventilated area. Note that this is not a deep cycle battery appropriate for marine use. How Do You Maintain Duracell Battery? Duracell AGM Automotive Battery is a maintenance-free battery. However, there are some basic things you can do to ensure it lasts. Make sure that you always keep the battery dry and clean. Check the levels in your battery regularly. Never add additives to your Duracell battery. You should also periodically check the charge on your battery to ensure it is working at peak efficiency. When Do You Recharge Your AGM Automotive Battery? You will know it is time to recharge your battery if your vehicle does not work. However, you can mitigate this problem if you keep periodically check the battery charge. It would be best if you allowed the AGM battery to discharge to 50% of its charge. I put this in my 1989 Jeep. Had to make a few adjustments but I knew that in advance since it's larger than what it called for. Needed it to keep my Jeep running and use with the winch as well.

Has both types of terminals, good CC Amp rating

Needed to replace a DieHard AGM battery that lasted almost 10 years in the AZ heat. This battery has a great rating at half the price of others.  So far it’s been flawless to include heavy winching. Very happy.

Great battery at a great price

Replaced a pair of Optimal batteries in my GMC Duramax diesel.  Time will tell longevity, but so far no problems.  Cost was a major consideration as these are less than half the cost of Optima's.

In my Jeep and trucks but they've gotten too proud of their name. This Duracell AGM has nearly the exact same specifications as the Optima, for about $100 less.

Time will tell if it will prove as trustworthy but I expect this Duracell will prove as reliable as their batteries have always been.

Great battery for group 34. Fits like a glove for 06 Chrysler Pacifica. Would definitely recommend to others....Worth the money!

Great Battery

I recently purchased this battery. It worked as designed. Got it for a good cost with the instant rebay.

Great bang for the buck!

I put this battery in my 2000 Chrysler 300M which called for a group size 34. I sat a 34 and this battery side by side on the store floor and they were almost exactly the same. (One was about 1/8 inch taller.) I've had it installed for about a year and have had no problems with it. It's 175 CCA more powerful than the OEM battery required. It's an AGM battery, so it's also totally sealed. Thus, it should not cause terminal corrosion - which is important to me since 300M batteries are replaced through the right tire wheel well! This battery was the best value on the market when I bought it at $99. It's still an excellent deal at $119.

Great Battery at a Great Price

Had it for over 3 years now in a Chevy Tahoe, still cranking like it's new. I've even abused it a couple times now by letting it get discharged so much my car wouldn't start because I left my dashcam plugged in for too many days. Put it on my charger and was working fine after. Will be buying another one whenever this one dies.

Still going strong

The C5 Corvette is fussy about what battery is used. It's a computer with wheels and any power drain can cause bumps in the road. This battery has worked flawlessly for the last year. It fit perfectly, and if this ever gets tired I'll replace with the same.
AGM is the only way to go to eliminate any chance of acid leak.

Worst experience I’ve ever had has been with this battery, I’m on battery number 3 and I hope this one finally works but the previous ones have only lasted about 3 months if that, don’t waste your time or money on this battery
