OH MAN! These were delicious!!! The flavor was both wet and sweet! Not dried out! And it had that grapefruit sweetness but more orangy. Unfortunately, those who are taking specific medications CANNOT eat this because it can cause a reaction because of the GRAPEFRUIT. So be sure you CAN eat this!

Grapefruit Orange

Quality was decent, but flavor was lacking.  They should be in season, but just didn't have a lot of flavor.  Plenty juicy and sweet, but not as punchy as Naval oranges.  I'd probably try them again, but don't know that I would from Sam's distributor.

Good, but a bit bland.

I have ordered these, before, for delivery and been quite happy with the quality.  But these I picked up from the club.  While they looked fine and even smelled good, that was not the case when we tried to eat them.  The first (two, my wife and I each tried one) turned out to be "old" and beginning to dry out. When I cut open another, was just as the first.  I would have returned the remaining bag to Sam's but the club is not convenient during my routine travels. Since this is my first disappointment with this specific product (I ran into a similar issue with some berries, a year ago, but further purchases have been fine), I will likely try it again.  While I overwhelmingly recommend shopping at Sam's for groceries (including perishables), it is good to be cautious in checking for freshness...

Not up to Sam's normal quality

Examine oranges carefully. They are difficult to examine with the mesh packaging. When I opened the bag once I got home two of the oranges were rotten and molded. I didn’t return them since we live an hour away. Next time I will check much more closely.

Cara Cara oranges are usually much better than these were. These were tough, not so sweet like cara cara usually are. Maybe it's the first batch of the year. I'll try another sack and see. If they are all going to start being like these, I will not buy any more.

Not the cara cara oranges I am used to.

Unfortunately like a lot of fruit at Sam's, they oranges spoil quickly. Within two days of purchasing I had spoiled oranges. Beware when buying fruit from Sam's Club.

Spoils quickly

Started buying Cara Cara several years ago and they were the best oranges I ever tasted. The last 6 months they have been very disappointing. There’s hardly any taste and they are dry. I don’t know what has changed about the way they are grown but I’m sure I will NOT be buying them again.

Don’t waste your money

Molds quickly. I had the oranges for 3 days before they started to mold. The rinds were thin, so I’m not sure how long the oranges were sitting before I bought them. This was maybe the 3rd time when they are available at Sam’s Club that I’ve bought them and they mold in the first few days. I’ve bought smaller bags from Walmart and other orange varieties from other grocery stores that do not have the same problem.

Mold quickly

This fruit is usually very sweet and flavorful. These were dried up and had no flavor. Very disappointing.! Since we live 20 miles away we did not return them. Most of them were thrown away.! Such a waste!!

Wasted 😔

A third of the oranges were bad and rotting. Found out when I got home. Not the burst of flavor I expected from the remaining one. A bit watery and bland.
