Have you ever overcooked bacon in the oven, to the point when you pick it up it crumbles? Yeah this is worse. When it says original recipe it means original batch. It's so dry. It's tasteless? I don't want to say it's horrible... but it's horrible.

    Old Fashioned like me

    Tastes like the jerky we used to make at home. Most jerky you buy is moist instead of dry and doesn't last like it is supposed to. This is dry and can last a long time even after opening. I'm from NM and am glad my Sam's carries this in Phx.
