We bought the pergola in store. After assembling, we realized one of the louvers was slightly bent. The phone call to customer service could not have went better. The agent was very thorough and did not question any of my asks. Unbelievably, we received the replacement parts the very next day. Now, the explanation of my title.  The product description says it can withstand 70-90 mph winds. Well, that may be indeed the case... but only  if it has been anchored to the ground. We got sidetracked and failed to do so after assembly. A week later, we had very high winds here in Nebraska and I woke up the following morning to find my pergola 30 feet from where it was assembled.  Of course, it was twisted like a pretzel.  That said, we bit the bullet and purchase a second one. The first one we bought was on sale, but sadly the second one we bought from the manufacturer website directly at a cost of almost $700 more than the first one. As you can imagine, it was immediately anchored after assembly and we love it!

Bought It…Twice!

I bought this while getting my deck rebuilt and I’m so glad I did! We extended our deck to add this on and had the deck builders install it and it has been beyond worth it! The contractor was willing to try this product since I was able to get it so much cheaper than his product he offered and he reported it was just as good if not better than his current supplier and he plans to switch to these in the future.

Amazing Pergola! My Trex deck was in full sun and got hotter than two rats doing the dirty in a wool sock.  Now I'm able to enjoy sipping on margaritas in the cool shade while grilling up a storm.  The pergola was super easy to install since I paid someone else to do it,but is very secure and easy to operate.

Worth Every Penny!

I bought the Evanston 14x10 pergola. I love the  protection from the it provides from the sun and rain. It was easy to assemble.

Awesome product

We bought our house two years ago and our backyard was not able to get much use because the sun rises on our ne side of the backyard and sets the other side. So we get beat with all day long. This has not only been a lifesaver, but one week after we put it up we had a severe  hail storm and we had no leaks and no dents from the golf ball size hail. I am in awe of their products. Not only do I have the pergola, but I also have their outdoor kitchen. Neighbors are envious

Love, love, love

We are having the same issue as minico88! I do love this product but and dont regret the purchase but a few extra hundred to reinforce the center with custom truss for the front due to just enough sag that the water doesn’t drain because the filters inside top of post are flush to the top so it has to over flow to drain. The flush mount side to house does in fact rain through and down the siding so a custom gutter will need to be installed.
