About this item

Product details

This package comes with 100 sterile, single-use insulin syringes.

BD Pen Needles and Insulin Syringes are covered by most healthcare plans across Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare Part D.* More than 95% of healthcare plans have coverage for BD Pen Needles and Insulin Syringes.*

BD Veo meets clinical recommendations

Shorter needles (i.e. 6mm needle insulin syringes) may help avoid accidentally injecting into the muscle, which can result in a low blood sugar event.

Tips for proper injection technique

Proper injection technique is important for experiencing the full benefits of insulin therapy. It includes:

- Using a new needle with each injection

- Rotating injection sites and injecting within sites at least one finger width apart. Recommended sites for injection are the abdomen, thigh, buttock and upper arm.

- Shifting to shorter needle lengths (i.e. 6mm needle insulin syringes)

*Fingertip Formulary, as of 12/16/2021
