Setup was quick and effortless, and the app is simple to navigate. The 2K video quality is sharp, detailed, and impressively clear both during the day and at night — the night vision captures everything perfectly, even in total darkness (shadow in my night video is due to being angled down on a counter). I also love the smart motion detection that can tell the difference between people and animals, which cuts down on false alerts. It came nicely packaged and felt high-quality right out of the box. Setting it up was a breeze, it connected super fast, and the Arlo app is really easy to use, even if you’re not techy. The motion detection is super responsive, and I love how wide the view is, it covers the whole room perfectly. The video quality is sharp, and the night vision surprised me with how clear it looks in the dark. Overall, it’s a great camera that gives me peace of mind and was super easy to get up and running.

I was able to set this up very quickly, the app works easily as well! I’ve used cameras before and this was one of the most user friendly for setup. Will be looking into one with a higher video quality or something I can use in the evening.
