Sneaky Good

I saw banana bread and immediately had to try them. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect since the packaging suggests they can snap apart (suggesting they might be crunchy - they are not crunchy but also not ‘muffiny’). While the first bite did not immediately say delicious, these grew on me (and my family) quickly and here I am reviewing the second box I ordered online to replace the first box we just got last week.

I LIKE IT!

Tastes good, has some protein, and this is a good price. Despite some comments to the contrary from other reviews, it has a recognizable banana bread flavor. Not as strong a flavor as actual banana bread but good nonetheless, and we all know we're buying a protein bar, not a bakery item, right?

Not the typical protein bar

They are a little pricy, but I really like them. Everyone is different, but here are my thoughts. The bars are dense and packed with seeds. They are lightly sweet and the texture is just sticky enough to hold the seeds together. I can't gobble them down quickly, which is a good thing for me. The first flavor that hit my palate was cinnamon followed by banana. Perfectly satisfying with my morning coffee.
