Very nice quality set

This is my first set of stainless steel so I did a lot of research on reviews to make sure I made the right choice. I chose this Viking set based on the amount of high reviews and the fact that Viking is a well known high quality brand. That, and the fact that these were in the price range I was looking for, is what lead me to purchase. I became a Sam’s member strictly to buy this set since I couldn’t find them elsewhere online. I’ve now been cooking with this set for a few weeks and although this is my first time cooking with stainless steel, I can’t imagine how they could be any better. They have a nice weight to them, they don’t ding or dent easily, and I love the way they look. So far, I’ve cooked pastas, grilled cheese, diced potatoes, meat, etc and I’ve never had an issue cleaning them. I use barkeepers friend to keep them shiny! I’m very happy with my purchase and will definitely consider this brand in the future!

Heavy-duty cookware

I know Viking from their high-end ovens and was surprised to learn that they make cookware as well. My first impression of this set was "wow, these are heavy duty!" The cookware arrives neatly packaged in a box and I was surprised how heavy it was. Each pot, pan and lid came wrapped in plastic and cardboard, which seemed like a lot of waste, but was done so everything could arrive in one piece. So far I have only used the pots and noticed that they heat quickly and evenly. Each lid has a tiny little vent in it which was fine for boiling water, but I'm not sure how cooking rice would work. I also loved how the pots have measurements on the inside to make life easier. The only downside is this set isn't non-stick. I think there will be a bit of a learning curve figuring out how to properly season the pans, but it will be worth it. This set is gorgeous and high-quality. I've only used them a few times so far but I can tell they'll last for many years to come. Plus, I finally feel like an adult with a matching set of pots and pans. :)
